Biography
Adina Safta is a Raleigh businesswoman, entrepreneur, mentor, and philanthropist. Born in a communist country, Romania, Adina was brought to the United States at the age of ten by her parents and with her sister. Arriving in Queens, NY, she learned to appreciate and value bravery, persistence, and perseverance. Adina’s parents reminded her and her sister that America is the land of opportunity and to always remember to pursue all of our dreams, passions, and aspirations in life.
Adina spent 15 years of her professional career working in the Corporate America world as a small business financial expert who often found herself going against the corporate grain and standard. Her primary focus was to help small business owners with their cash flow, leveraging the operating cycle, gaining access to credit, and serving as their line of defense in anything related to their daily operations. With a passion for helping what she considers to be the lifeline of our economy, Adina quickly built an outstanding reputation and successful career.
Adina believes that the number one constant that sets her apart from others, professionally and personally, is her ability to stand up for what is right even if that means standing alone in times of hardship and uncertainty. As an immigrant, Adina cherishes the opportunity to live out her American Dream thanks to the sacrifices and risks that her parents took. As a successful businesswoman, Adina empowers women to pursue their dreams with a limitless mentality and fearless soul. As a millennial, Adina can relate to the younger generation and future leaders of our nation and communities.
After witnessing the 2020 election, the act of governmental fear, and lack of faith, she pursued the idea of a career in public service and revisited her purpose in life. Adina made the ultimate decision to register as a candidate for the US House of Representatives, running for Congress in North Carolina’s 2nd District.
