Board Member

I am the Director General of the International Relations Division at the Histadrut, the largest and most influential trade union and social movement in Israel. With over 4 years of experience in this role, I am passionate about building bridges between the working men and women of the world and Israel, and enhancing the Histadrut’s global reach, mutual learning, and international solidarity.

As a board member of several Histadrut enterprises, such as Davar, Together for You, and Am-Oved, I contribute to the promotion of social justice, culture, and consumer rights in Israel. I also represent the Histadrut as a member of the ILO Governing Body, a prestigious position that I was nominated for by the International Trade Union Confederation in 2021. Before joining the Histadrut, I served for 25 years in the Israel Defense Forces, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel and the IDF spokesperson for the international media. I am intrigued and excited about the future of work, and I have completed certifications from MITx and Coursera on this topic. I have also published articles on the UN agency for Palestinian refugees and the Israeli labor market. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Conflict Management and Resolution from Bar-Ilan University, and I speak Hebrew and English fluently.
