Vinita Nair is the co-host of CBS This Morning: Saturday and a CBS News correspondent based in New York.
She joined CBS News in January 2013.

Before that, Nair co-anchored ABC’s World News Now and America This Morning, and was also a contributor to Good Morning America. She joined ABC News as an anchor and correspondent for ABC News Now.

Previously, Nair was a reporter and anchor at KWGN-TV in Denver. Earlier, she was an anchor and reporter at KOLN/KGIN-TV in Lincoln, Neb. Nair began her career in broadcast journalism at WGEM-TV in Quincy, Ill.

A native of Colleyville, Texas, Nair graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She lives in New York City.
