Biography

Adrian Perez, owner of Complete Eats, was born in the small quaint town of Beeville, Tx. He spent his childhood watching his father, Ruben Perez, run a Tex-Mex restaurant, and mother Leticia Perez, run a women’s boutique. At 20 years old, Adrian’s father sold the family business and he began his first job outside the family business at the local Beeville HEB deli. Adrian then worked his way up to an HEB cooking coach, teaching customers how to make recipes with a microphone and a love for service. That job positioned him for a culinary destiny he never could have imagined.

Corpus Christi was the next destination as Adrian attended Culinary School at Del Mar College and continued his coaching and teaching at HEB. He soon was promoted to Manager, became a top producer in sales. A call from the local Corpus Christi Channel 3 news station opened the first door into an extended career in media.

Having grown up an overweight child, Adrian adopted a lifestyle of healthy eating, found a passions for sharing this with others, and took on a part-time job as a personal trainer, and developed a perspective of healthy meets pleasure cuisine. It was the perfect match and fusion of both worlds.

He then made the move, with HEB, to Houston, TX. Within Adrian’s first week in Houston, he became the HEB TV chef for Houston’s live audience show, Great Day Houston with Debra Duncan on KHOU Channel 11 and other TV cooking spots came about for channel 2 news “Cookin’ Time with HEB,” GoodTaste with the Emmy award winning Tanji Patton, news channel CW 39 & Fox 26 News.

Adrian then took his passion for food, people, and the connection it created between the masses and started Complete Eats offering any and every service under the culinary spectrum. Working both HEB & Complete Eats full time, Adrian took a leap of faith after 11 years of service, and left HEB in 2016. He now runs Complete Eats full time as well as a continued career in TV and Media on shows like KPRC Channel 2 Houston Life, Fox 26 News, the Food Network. Closing out 2018, Chef Adrian had the honor of serving the late President Bush Sr. As a private in house chef.
