White House Correspondent

Alexis Simendinger is the White House Correspondent for RealClearPolitics. Before joining RealClearPolitics, she worked on a six-month project as an investigative reporter for the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, contributing to the official account of the 2008 financial meltdown. She previously covered the White House, Congress and national affairs for National Journal. Alexis won the Aldo Beckman Memorial Journalism Prize in 2008 for “excellence in White House coverage.”
