Biography

Adam Amin serves as a play-by-play commentator for ESPN, working on regular season and postseason coverage of football and basketball, as well as NCAA Championship action for volleyball, women’s basketball, wrestling, baseball and softball. Amin also contributes to ESPN Radio’s coverage of Major League Baseball, college football and college basketball. He joined ESPN in 2011.

Since 2012, Amin has been the country’s youngest radio voice on NFL broadcasts, calling games for Sports USA Radio. From 2007-11, he handled play-by-play, hosting and reporting tasks for Turner Sports Digital/NCAA Productions, FOX Sports Wisconsin, the Illinois High School Association and the Horizon League Network. Before coming to ESPN, he was studio host for football and basketball broadcasts at Valparaiso University, spent four seasons calling minor league baseball and served a stint as Sports Director at KUOO Radio in Spirit Lake, Iowa.

A native of Addison, Ill., Amin studied television and radio at Valparaiso where he was twice named Indiana Collegiate Sportscaster of the Year by the state association of broadcasters. In 2009, he was a finalist for the Jim Nantz Award and honored as one of the top five collegiate sportscasters in America.
