James Dickey currently serves as Senior Trial Counsel at the Upper Midwest Law Center. He previously was a litigation attorney at Hellmuth & Johnson and has experience in general business litigation, contract and tort litigation, First Amendment litigation, constitutional matters, construction litigation, first-party insurance litigation, loan disputes and bankruptcies, contract and lease drafting, and real estate transactions and litigation.

James Dickey practices law in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was selected to Rising Stars for 2018 - 2021. Prior to becoming an attorney, he studied at University of Minnesota Law School and graduated in 2012. After passing the bar exam, he was admitted to legal practice the same year.
