Representing the State in trials and hearings has helped her better understand the intricacies of litigation. Prior to joining the Dallas DA’s office, Yodit served as a law clerk for the 19th Judicial District Court for the Honorable Trudy M. White. During this time, Yodit prepared decisions, provided recommendations, and performed research on a vast array of complex legal issues. Clerking for a criminal judge not only exposed Yodit to the inner-workings of the judicial system, but also developed her ability to analyze legal issues critically.
