BERMAN Give us a ░░░░░░░░ of the situation in ░░░░░░░░ hospitals this morning NIRENBERG ░░░░░░░░ would say it is ░░░░░░░░ to say the least ░░░░░░░░ have seen nearly a ░░░░░░░░ increase month over month ░░░░░░░░ hospitalizations and the unfortunate ░░░░░░░░ is now the hospitalization ░░░░░░░░ is also getting younger ░░░░░░░░ getting more severe We ░░░░░░░░ a number of new ░░░░░░░░ obviously in ICU and ░░░░░░░░ ventilators so this is ░░░░░░░░ very strained situation where ░░░░░░░░ of the hospital systems ░░░░░░░░ leadership now are going ░░░░░░░░ the surge management because ░░░░░░░░ re reaching the very ░░░░░░░░ of their capacity BERMAN ░░░░░░░░ say the cases are ░░░░░░░░ more severe Can you ░░░░░░░░ what s being seen ░░░░░░░░ your county Because the ░░░░░░░░ even overnight was saying ░░░░░░░░ most of the cases ░░░░░░░░ just sniffles NIRENBERG Well ░░░░░░░░ case load is growing ░░░░░░░░ high that it hides ░░░░░░░░ mortality rate but we ░░░░░░░░ seen our deaths number ░░░░░░░░ increase pretty dramatically Just ░░░░░░░░ other day we reported ░░░░░░░░ deaths under the age ░░░░░░░░ 40 We had been ░░░░░░░░ over and over again ░░░░░░░░ the hospital leaders that ░░░░░░░░ age of the the ░░░░░░░░ age of the hospitalization ░░░░░░░░ getting younger And now ░░░░░░░░ full 35 of all ░░░░░░░░ admissions and again this ░░░░░░░░ the 7th largest region ░░░░░░░░ the United States a ░░░░░░░░ 35 of all hospital ░░░░░░░░ now is attributed to ░░░░░░░░ 19 BERMAN What is ░░░░░░░░ to stop this NIRENBERG ░░░░░░░░ will take a focused ░░░░░░░░ I think the doctors ░░░░░░░░ had it right We ░░░░░░░░ a number of challenges ░░░░░░░░ the least of which ░░░░░░░░ we have gotten a ░░░░░░░░ of mixed messages from ░░░░░░░░ at the national and ░░░░░░░░ levels about the importance ░░░░░░░░ things like wearing masks ░░░░░░░░ physical distancing We ve ░░░░░░░░ just an overall politicization ░░░░░░░░ this to make people ░░░░░░░░ like Well back in ░░░░░░░░ and even May things ░░░░░░░░ going very well so ░░░░░░░░ s put our guard ░░░░░░░░ But we know very ░░░░░░░░ that this is not ░░░░░░░░ until we have therapeutics ░░░░░░░░ we have a vaccine ░░░░░░░░ these minor inconveniences about ░░░░░░░░ our behaviors a little ░░░░░░░░ with face coverings and ░░░░░░░░ and not going certain ░░░░░░░░ where we know large ░░░░░░░░ will occur are things ░░░░░░░░ ll have to live ░░░░░░░░ That has got to ░░░░░░░░ the message going forward ░░░░░░░░ we re going to ░░░░░░░░ any aspect of life ░░░░░░░░ we ve got to ░░░░░░░░ it with controlling this ░░░░░░░░
