PRESSLEY If you care ░░░░░░░░ economic recovery post COVID ░░░░░░░░ you should care about ░░░░░░░░ debt cancellation If you ░░░░░░░░ about racial justice you ░░░░░░░░ care about student debt ░░░░░░░░ because black and Latinx ░░░░░░░░ all low income and ░░░░░░░░ of color borrow more ░░░░░░░░ It s not just ░░░░░░░░ public health crisis it ░░░░░░░░ also an economic crisis ░░░░░░░░ re seeing millions of ░░░░░░░░ who are now without ░░░░░░░░ job many folks who ░░░░░░░░ are in the process ░░░░░░░░ getting their unemployment benefits ░░░░░░░░ who are graduating without ░░░░░░░░ foresight onto what their ░░░░░░░░ looks like While all ░░░░░░░░ that is happening we ░░░░░░░░ people who still have ░░░░░░░░ that are piling up ░░░░░░░░ And in the midst ░░░░░░░░ this crisis when people ░░░░░░░░ quite literally navigating a ░░░░░░░░ norm of just trying ░░░░░░░░ stay alive the last ░░░░░░░░ they need to be ░░░░░░░░ about is a bill ░░░░░░░░ certainly not a student ░░░░░░░░ bill or their wages ░░░░░░░░ benefits being garnished Who ░░░░░░░░ do that in the ░░░░░░░░ of a pandemic Who ░░░░░░░░ do that This administration ░░░░░░░░ need relief bills that ░░░░░░░░ the people first and ░░░░░░░░ is a way to ░░░░░░░░ the people first by ░░░░░░░░ the debt eliminating the ░░░░░░░░ and putting money back ░░░░░░░░ their pockets.”
