cleared the ░░░░░░░░ on that sir your ░░░░░░░░ to the debate as ░░░░░░░░ laid out including the ░░░░░░░░ s comments about reopening ░░░░░░░░ schools and the expertise ░░░░░░░░ make those decisions as ░░░░░░░░ as public gatherings I ░░░░░░░░ the ly be presumptuous ░░░░░░░░ to say what I ░░░░░░░░ a politician s job ░░░░░░░░ It is to protect ░░░░░░░░ My job and people ░░░░░░░░ me have the job ░░░░░░░░ help them do that ░░░░░░░░ It s clear that ░░░░░░░░ is a killer in ░░░░░░░░ midst It kills old ░░░░░░░░ It kills people in ░░░░░░░░ middle ages and now ░░░░░░░░ we know it kills ░░░░░░░░ too That s the ░░░░░░░░ thing to say Until ░░░░░░░░ killer is reduced and ░░░░░░░░ not at all in ░░░░░░░░ midst it s not ░░░░░░░░ to go out in ░░░░░░░░ groups You ve got ░░░░░░░░ be very careful The ░░░░░░░░ thing is to protect ░░░░░░░░ with masks and other ░░░░░░░░ of behavior The second ░░░░░░░░ is for our health ░░░░░░░░ to do whatever they ░░░░░░░░ to identify those who ░░░░░░░░ sick to ░░░░░░░░ on all of the ░░░░░░░░ and this reported pressure ░░░░░░░░ the Trump Administration on ░░░░░░░░ CDC to potentially adjust ░░░░░░░░ death toll Well unfortunately ░░░░░░░░ m not surprised by ░░░░░░░░ because it s clear ░░░░░░░░ president wants to get ░░░░░░░░ this in everybody s ░░░░░░░░ so he can concentrate ░░░░░░░░ opening the economy which ░░░░░░░░ t going to happen ░░░░░░░░ we have a resurgence ░░░░░░░░ this disease and it ░░░░░░░░ everything we know every ░░░░░░░░ as scientists learn more ░░░░░░░░ it we find more ░░░░░░░░ that it attacks the ░░░░░░░░ This is not just ░░░░░░░░ respiratory disease This is ░░░░░░░░ the flu This is ░░░░░░░░ much more serious and ░░░░░░░░ can have long term ░░░░░░░░ So we need to ░░░░░░░░ really careful It s ░░░░░░░░ to say he doesn ░░░░░░░░ like the answer that ░░░░░░░░ Fauci is giving Well ░░░░░░░░ what Dr Fauci is ░░░░░░░░ giving answers to have ░░░░░░░░ like him He is ░░░░░░░░ based on the best ░░░░░░░░ he has available and ░░░░░░░░ to keep their ░░░░░░░░ safe Because it s ░░░░░░░░ going to rebuild the ░░░░░░░░ if we suddenly open ░░░░░░░░ and we have a ░░░░░░░░ host of more people ░░░░░░░░ die The whole issue ░░░░░░░░ how do you count ░░░░░░░░ deaths that s a ░░░░░░░░ one because you can ░░░░░░░░ those numbers two different ░░░░░░░░ You can say well ░░░░░░░░ know there are a ░░░░░░░░ of people that haven ░░░░░░░░ been identified as having ░░░░░░░░ 19 who we think ░░░░░░░░ have who have died ░░░░░░░░ does that mean that ░░░░░░░░ death toll is a ░░░░░░░░ less because you have ░░░░░░░░ people who haven t ░░░░░░░░ tested and didn t ░░░░░░░░ I m sorry The ░░░░░░░░ way around They didn ░░░░░░░░ die And then you ░░░░░░░░ people who did die ░░░░░░░░ they now say well ░░░░░░░░ could have been due ░░░░░░░░ Covid be you re ░░░░░░░░ 100 sure So that ░░░░░░░░ understand about being a ░░░░░░░░ bit careful with those ░░░░░░░░ but good lord those ░░░░░░░░ are big enough any ░░░░░░░░ We re up to ░░░░░░░░ over 80 000 Americans ░░░░░░░░ have died from this ░░░░░░░░ don t need to ░░░░░░░░ into the hundreds maybe ░░░░░░░░ way or another It ░░░░░░░░ a serious the thing ░░░░░░░░ s affecting all of ░░░░░░░░ And we all want ░░░░░░░░ to end I mean ░░░░░░░░ s hard to sit ░░░░░░░░ as I did last ░░░░░░░░ from my children I ░░░░░░░░ t touch them couldn ░░░░░░░░ good within six feet ░░░░░░░░ them I m never ░░░░░░░░ to get that close ░░░░░░░░ my grandchildren And that ░░░░░░░░ hard for everybody much ░░░░░░░░ those who are losing ░░░░░░░░ Jobs and their homes ░░░░░░░░ their livelihood So we ░░░░░░░░ understand that But this ░░░░░░░░ something we have got ░░░░░░░░ take seriously You mentioned ░░░░░░░░ exchange the 80 000 ░░░░░░░░ I want to play ░░░░░░░░ viewer this was another ░░░░░░░░ moment in the hearing ░░░░░░░░ has triggered the president ░░░░░░░░ was the exchange with ░░░░░░░░ Sanders and Dr Fauci ░░░░░░░░ official statistic Dr Fauci ░░░░░░░░ that 80 000 Americans ░░░░░░░░ died from the pandemic ░░░░░░░░ are some epidemiologists who ░░░░░░░░ the number may be ░░░░░░░░ higher than that What ░░░░░░░░ you think I m ░░░░░░░░ sure Senator Sanders if ░░░░░░░░ s going to be ░░░░░░░░ higher but most of ░░░░░░░░ feel that the number ░░░░░░░░ deaths are likely higher ░░░░░░░░ that number Higher than ░░░░░░░░ number I wanted to ░░░░░░░░ that so our viewers ░░░░░░░░ that full context Our ░░░░░░░░ stay with us The ░░░░░░░░ was just mentioning that ░░░░░░░░ do make these calls ░░░░░░░░ our system That s ░░░░░░░░ the case Governor Jared ░░░░░░░░ a Democrat of Colorado ░░░░░░░░ us now We should ░░░░░░░░ he met with the ░░░░░░░░ at the White House ░░░░░░░░ They ve had policy ░░░░░░░░ but everyone trying to ░░░░░░░░ together and make it ░░░░░░░░ Let s start with ░░░░░░░░ we see on camera ░░░░░░░░ You were using a ░░░░░░░░ unlike some have in ░░░░░░░░ meetings for part of ░░░░░░░░ meet and you removed ░░░░░░░░ at one point Anything ░░░░░░░░ can share with us ░░░░░░░░ that meeting Do mention just a local ░░░░░░░░ we ve seen This ░░░░░░░░ the case count in ░░░░░░░░ there There was a ░░░░░░░░ rock Colorado restaurant that ░░░░░░░░ to reopen the way ░░░░░░░░ rules have worked But ░░░░░░░░ have some video that ░░░░░░░░ then you had activities ░░░░░░░░ basically obviously you see ░░░░░░░░ were not following the ░░░░░░░░ Anyone can see that ░░░░░░░░ looks like this footage ░░░░░░░░ be from any time ░░░░░░░░ year Close together and ░░░░░░░░ masks What did you ░░░░░░░░ about it And what ░░░░░░░░ we learn about the ░░░░░░░░ way the reopen Yeah ░░░░░░░░ in that example the ░░░░░░░░ of that restaurant to ░░░░░░░░ has been suspended indefinitely ░░░░░░░░ least for 30 days ░░░░░░░░ ve had restaurants open ░░░░░░░░ entire period mostly for ░░░░░░░░ for delivery now in ░░░░░░░░ of the state they ░░░░░░░░ is limited in dining ░░░░░░░░ It s very important ░░░░░░░░ like in good times ░░░░░░░░ we always worry about ░░░░░░░░ guidance at restaurants So ░░░░░░░░ have health guidelines They ░░░░░░░░ t have rats in ░░░░░░░░ kitchen and people without ░░░░░░░░ their hands There is ░░░░░░░░ in good times That ░░░░░░░░ even amplified more in ░░░░░░░░ time So we re ░░░░░░░░ serious about making sure ░░░░░░░░ guidelines are workable for ░░░░░░░░ businesses that they can ░░░░░░░░ by they can provide ░░░░░░░░ critical customer service and ░░░░░░░░ at the same time ░░░░░░░░ have to do it ░░░░░░░░ a new and safer ░░░░░░░░ that s consistent with ░░░░░░░░ the public health So ░░░░░░░░ your experience on the ░░░░░░░░ there that this is ░░░░░░░░ that establishments will continue ░░░░░░░░ improve Or is that ░░░░░░░░ really an open question ░░░░░░░░ it s not a ░░░░░░░░ in black and white ░░░░░░░░ think some of the ░░░░░░░░ that have come out ░░░░░░░░ the White House and ░░░░░░░░ sympathizers are basically attacking ░░░░░░░░ straw man that we ░░░░░░░░ have to stay shut ░░░░░░░░ and we can t ░░░░░░░░ let s just open ░░░░░░░░ normal But your state ░░░░░░░░ others are trying to ░░░░░░░░ with well what does ░░░░░░░░ look like if yes ░░░░░░░░ take a little more ░░░░░░░░ by going out but ░░░░░░░░ all these rules That ░░░░░░░░ It s really finding ░░░░░░░░ how we can live ░░░░░░░░ this world with the ░░░░░░░░ We expect the virus ░░░░░░░░ be here Ari until ░░░░░░░░ is a vaccine or ░░░░░░░░ cure It could be ░░░░░░░░ months potentially years And ░░░░░░░░ we have to learn ░░░░░░░░ live in a way ░░░░░░░░ we enshrine that social ░░░░░░░░ How do we do ░░░░░░░░ much as possible six ░░░░░░░░ apart Wearing masks in ░░░░░░░░ Well actually require it ░░░░░░░░ all stores and restaurants ░░░░░░░░ the state of Colorado ░░░░░░░░ employees have to wear ░░░░░░░░ masks for customers some ░░░░░░░░ the municipalities do and ░░░░░░░░ don t But whether ░░░░░░░░ do or don t ░░░░░░░░ should wear a mask ░░░░░░░░ public So the more ░░░░░░░░ people are using their ░░░░░░░░ responsibility in a good ░░░░░░░░ to protect themselves and ░░░░░░░░ family member the more ░░░░░░░░ can continue in this ░░░░░░░░ of being able to ░░░░░░░░ sure there is more ░░░░░░░░ opportunities in a safe ░░░░░░░░ Understood Governor polis working ░░░░░░░░ people in his state ░░░░░░░░ back in ░░░░░░░░ government How should that ░░░░░░░░ addressed Well I mean ░░░░░░░░ s difficult now because ░░░░░░░░ administration has been denigrating ░░░░░░░░ and scientists from the ░░░░░░░░ beginning and the administration ░░░░░░░░ lost a lot of ░░░░░░░░ scientists with the institutional ░░░░░░░░ What you have to ░░░░░░░░ is get the best ░░░░░░░░ advice that you think ░░░░░░░░ can rely on as ░░░░░░░░ governor You listen to ░░░░░░░░ who tell you what ░░░░░░░░ don t want to ░░░░░░░░ as well as those ░░░░░░░░ tell you what you ░░░░░░░░ want to hear and ░░░░░░░░ if you can figure ░░░░░░░░ where is the preponderance ░░░░░░░░ that s what you ░░░░░░░░ with As the governor ░░░░░░░░ said you do this ░░░░░░░░ The really tragic thing ░░░░░░░░ the CDC apparently has ░░░░░░░░ very
