Lee According to recent ░░░░░░░░ published in September 77 ░░░░░░░░ of Americans support access ░░░░░░░░ abortion And we know ░░░░░░░░ we see how many ░░░░░░░░ these restrictions disproportionately which ░░░░░░░░ talked about impact women ░░░░░░░░ color and low income ░░░░░░░░ Access to the full ░░░░░░░░ of reproductive health care ░░░░░░░░ be accessible to all ░░░░░░░░ not based on one ░░░░░░░░ race income or zip ░░░░░░░░ Now fighting for equitable ░░░░░░░░ to abortion is deeply ░░░░░░░░ for me and I ░░░░░░░░ and it s hard ░░░░░░░░ talk about this but ░░░░░░░░ think today I ll ░░░░░░░░ it again I remember ░░░░░░░░ clearly the days of ░░░░░░░░ alley abortions before Roe ░░░░░░░░ Wade I was a ░░░░░░░░ only 16 years old ░░░░░░░░ had to go to ░░░░░░░░ for a gut wrenching ░░░░░░░░ alley abortion Again before ░░░░░░░░ versus Wade Abortions were ░░░░░░░░ safe nor legal in ░░░░░░░░ own country So I ░░░░░░░░ to stand by and ░░░░░░░░ even one more woman ░░░░░░░░ life put in danger ░░░░░░░░ of lack of access ░░░░░░░░ safe and legal abortions ░░░░░░░░ of my Republican colleagues ░░░░░░░░ today and the minority ░░░░░░░░ they want to portray ░░░░░░░░ who have had abortions ░░░░░░░░ evil or as murderers ░░░░░░░░ I m here today ░░░░░░░░ several of my sisters ░░░░░░░░ who have personally had ░░░░░░░░ abortion and when you ░░░░░░░░ these comments they also ░░░░░░░░ them to me They ░░░░░░░░ them to you and ░░░░░░░░ re not going to ░░░░░░░░ for it Many and ░░░░░░░░ serve on the Appropriations ░░░░░░░░ and let me tell ░░░░░░░░ what I see Many ░░░░░░░░ our Republican colleagues they ░░░░░░░░ teen pregnancy prevention programs ░░░░░░░░ oppose comprehensive sex education.”
