hear your ░░░░░░░░ on the news every ░░░░░░░░ day When you use ░░░░░░░░ term what do you ░░░░░░░░ people to understand by ░░░░░░░░ Well I think what ░░░░░░░░ want people to understand ░░░░░░░░ that we live in ░░░░░░░░ society that is capable ░░░░░░░░ are capable of ensuring ░░░░░░░░ we have basic frameworks ░░░░░░░░ people can be covered ░░░░░░░░ health insurance can send ░░░░░░░░ kids to college where ░░░░░░░░ can pursue a very ░░░░░░░░ action on climate change ░░░░░░░░ save our future and ░░░░░░░░ is part of a ░░░░░░░░ and ethical economy and ░░░░░░░░ we can legislate from ░░░░░░░░ value and where it ░░░░░░░░ possible I believe we ░░░░░░░░ morally obliged to pursue ░░░░░░░░ Trevor When you look ░░░░░░░░ the power of labels ░░░░░░░░ politics you understand how ░░░░░░░░ a label can be That is going to ░░░░░░░░ troubling Even if you ░░░░░░░░ the tax deal that ░░░░░░░░ only 5 of what ░░░░░░░░ need to pay for ░░░░░░░░ How do you pay ░░░░░░░░ education and all these ░░░░░░░░ Ocasio 28 ░░░░░░░░ is not even as ░░░░░░░░ as it was before ░░░░░░░░ we do those two ░░░░░░░░ and close some of ░░░░░░░░ loopholes that s 2 ░░░░░░░░ right there That s ░░░░░░░░ trillion in 10 years ░░░░░░░░ it s one of ░░░░░░░░ wide estimates is that ░░░░░░░░ s going to take ░░░░░░░░ trillion to 4 trillion ░░░░░░░░ transition us to 100 ░░░░░░░░ economy So we have ░░░░░░░░ trillion from folks paying ░░░░░░░░ fair share which they ░░░░░░░░ t paying before the ░░░░░░░░ tax bill They weren ░░░░░░░░ paying that before the ░░░░░░░░ tax bill If we ░░░░░░░░ people to pay their ░░░░░░░░ share that s 2 ░░░░░░░░ in 10 years If ░░░░░░░░ implement a carbon tax ░░░░░░░░ top of that to ░░░░░░░░ and incentivize people away ░░░░░░░░ fossil fuels the we ░░░░░░░░ a carb tax an ░░░░░░░░ amount a large amount ░░░░░░░░ revenue that we can ░░░░░░░░ Then the last key ░░░░░░░░ is extremely important is ░░░░░░░░ prioritization Just last year ░░░░░░░░ gave the military a ░░░░░░░░ billion budget increase which ░░░░░░░░ didn t even ask ░░░░░░░░ They re like we ░░░░░░░░ t want another fighter ░░░░░░░░ They re like don ░░░░░░░░ give us another nuclear ░░░░░░░░ you know NOAH Right ░░░░░░░░ Cortez They didn t ░░░░░░░░ ask for it and ░░░░░░░░ gave it to them ░░░░░░░░ a lot of what ░░░░░░░░ need to do reprioritize ░░░░░░░░ we want accomplish as ░░░░░░░░ nation Really what this ░░░░░░░░ about is saying healthcare ░░░░░░░░ important enough for us ░░░░░░░░ put first Education is ░░░░░░░░ enough for us to ░░░░░░░░ first That is a ░░░░░░░░ that requires political and ░░░░░░░░ courage from both parts
