BURKE Our work is ░░░░░░░░ from done This movement ░░░░░░░░ far from over One ░░░░░░░░ the things I ve ░░░░░░░░ in the last you ░░░░░░░░ year and a half ░░░░░░░░ this happened is that ░░░░░░░░ really don t understand ░░░░░░░░ in a real way ░░░░░░░░ aren t movements hashtags ░░░░░░░░ tools They re wonderful ░░░░░░░░ tools that help bolster ░░░░░░░░ But movements take time ░░░░░░░░ MeToo has dropped down ░░░░░░░░ the middle of an ░░░░░░░░ movement We didn t ░░░░░░░░ the fight to end ░░░░░░░░ violence we re just ░░░░░░░░ to take it to ░░░░░░░░ next level Our work ░░░░░░░░ about Applause thank you ░░░░░░░░ work is about healing ░░░░░░░░ action period Everything else ░░░░░░░░ a distraction Everything else ░░░░░░░░ people are trying to ░░░░░░░░ it be everything else ░░░░░░░░ they re attaching the ░░░░░░░░ to if it s ░░░░░░░░ talking about healing survivors ░░░░░░░░ sexual violence or taking ░░░░░░░░ to end sexual violence ░░░░░░░░ it s not about ░░░░░░░░ movement One of my ░░░░░░░░ close friends Dr Imani ░░░░░░░░ has a quote in ░░░░░░░░ new book that says ░░░░░░░░ me get it right ░░░░░░░░ in and of itself ░░░░░░░░ not a virtue without ░░░░░░░░ moral imperative This is ░░░░░░░░ moral imperative I urge ░░░░░░░░ to take action to ░░░░░░░░ up It s not ░░░░░░░░ to just be celebrated ░░░░░░░░ people are not going ░░░░░░░░ stand up for what ░░░░░░░░ believe in And so ░░░░░░░░ is the role that ░░░░░░░░ all can play this ░░░░░░░░ the role that I ░░░░░░░░ continue to play and ░░░░░░░░ ll be looking for ░░░░░░░░ all out in the ░░░░░░░░ Thank you so much ░░░░░░░░
