Hillary to Black Lives Matter: ‘I Will Only Talk to White People About’ Dealing w/ Racism

░░░░░░░░ try to give kids ░░░░░░░░ poor kids particularly black ░░░░░░░░ and Hispanic kids the ░░░░░░░░ chance to live up ░░░░░░░░ their own God given ░░░░░░░░ as any other kid ░░░░░░░░ s where I ve ░░░░░░░░ focused And I think ░░░░░░░░ there has to be ░░░░░░░░ reckoning I agree with ░░░░░░░░ But I also think ░░░░░░░░ has to be some ░░░░░░░░ vision and plan that ░░░░░░░░ can move people toward ░░░░░░░░ you say you know ░░░░░░░░ country has still not ░░░░░░░░ from it s original ░░░░░░░░ which is true once ░░░░░░░░ say that then the ░░░░░░░░ question by people who ░░░░░░░░ on the sidelines which ░░░░░░░░ the vast majority of ░░░░░░░░ the next question is ░░░░░░░░ what do you want ░░░░░░░░ to do about it ░░░░░░░░ am I supposed to ░░░░░░░░ about it That s ░░░░░░░░ I m trying to ░░░░░░░░ together in a way ░░░░░░░░ I can explain it ░░░░░░░░ I can sell it ░░░░░░░░ in politics if you ░░░░░░░░ t explain it and ░░░░░░░░ can t sell it ░░░░░░░░ stays on its shelf ░░░░░░░░ this is now a ░░░░░░░░ a moment in time ░░░░░░░░ like the Civil Rights ░░░░░░░░ or the women s ░░░░░░░░ or the gay rights ░░░░░░░░ or a lot of ░░░░░░░░ movements reached a point ░░░░░░░░ time the people behind ░░░░░░░░ consciousness raising and advocacy ░░░░░░░░ had a plan ready ░░░░░░░░ go So that when ░░░░░░░░ turn to you know ░░░░░░░░ women s movement we ░░░░░░░░ to pass this and ░░░░░░░░ want to pass that ░░░░░░░░ we want to do ░░░░░░░░ problems are not taken ░░░░░░░░ of we know that ░░░░░░░░ I know more about ░░░░░░░░ Civil Rights Movement in ░░░░░░░░ old days because I ░░░░░░░░ a lot of involvement ░░░░░░░░ working with people So ░░░░░░░░ had a plan this ░░░░░░░░ of legislation this court ░░░░░░░░ we re going to ░░░░░░░░ et cetera et cetera ░░░░░░░░ with the gay rights ░░░░░░░░ You know we re ░░░░░░░░ of homophobia We re ░░░░░░░░ of being discriminated against ░░░░░░░░ want marriage equality We ░░░░░░░░ starting in the states ░░░░░░░░ we re going to ░░░░░░░░ going until we get ░░░░░░░░ at the highest court ░░░░░░░░ the land So all ░░░░░░░░ m saying is your ░░░░░░░░ is totally fair It ░░░░░░░░ historically fair It s ░░░░░░░░ fair It s economically ░░░░░░░░ But you re going ░░░░░░░░ have to come together ░░░░░░░░ a movement and say ░░░░░░░░ s what we want ░░░░░░░░ about it Because you ░░░░░░░░ get lip service from ░░░░░░░░ many white people as ░░░░░░░░ can pack into Yankee ░░░░░░░░ and a million more ░░░░░░░░ it who are going ░░░░░░░░ say Oh we get ░░░░░░░░ We get it We ░░░░░░░░ going to be nicer ░░░░░░░░ s not enough at ░░░░░░░░ in my book That ░░░░░░░░ not how I see ░░░░░░░░ So the consciousness raising ░░░░░░░░ advocacy the passion the ░░░░░░░░ of your movement is ░░░░░░░░ critical But now all ░░░░░░░░ m suggesting is even ░░░░░░░░ us sinners find some ░░░░░░░░ ground on agendas that ░░░░░░░░ make a difference right ░░░░░░░░ and now in people ░░░░░░░░ lives and that s ░░░░░░░░ I would love to ░░░░░░░░ your thoughts about because ░░░░░░░░ s what I m ░░░░░░░░ to figure out how ░░░░░░░░ do So yes deal ░░░░░░░░ mass incarceration You know ░░░░░░░░ s not just an ░░░░░░░░ issue although I grant ░░░░░░░░ some of you will ░░░░░░░░ it like that But ░░░░░░░░ s more than that ░░░░░░░░ I think there is ░░░░░░░░ sense that low level ░░░░░░░░ disparity in treatment we ░░░░░░░░ got to do something ░░░░░░░░ that I think that ░░░░░░░░ lot of the issues ░░░░░░░░ housing and about job ░░░░░░░░ Ban The Box a ░░░░░░░░ of these things let ░░░░░░░░ get an agenda that ░░░░░░░░ as much of the ░░░░░░░░ as we can Because ░░░░░░░░ you can be for ░░░░░░░░ in addition to getting ░░░░░░░░ to have to admit ░░░░░░░░ they re part of ░░░░░░░░ long history in our ░░░░░░░░ of you know either ░░░░░░░░ know proposing supporting condoning ░░░░░░░░ segregation et
