RUSH TRANSCRIPT With James ░░░░░░░░ He is of course ░░░░░░░░ democratic nominee for U ░░░░░░░░ Senate in the great ░░░░░░░░ of Texas Okay I ░░░░░░░░ I just played for ░░░░░░░░ right before the break ░░░░░░░░ of the themes that ░░░░░░░░ Republicans have decided to ░░░░░░░░ you on you ve ░░░░░░░░ course kind of embraced ░░░░░░░░ tale of rico Crazy ░░░░░░░░ I m sure I ░░░░░░░░ love to know how ░░░░░░░░ money you re making ░░░░░░░░ selling those t shirts ░░░░░░░░ can tell us But ░░░░░░░░ Ted Cruz basically I ░░░░░░░░ I loved that it ░░░░░░░░ it was a great ░░░░░░░░ great play But Ted ░░░░░░░░ basically said he wouldn ░░░░░░░░ use the word masculine ░░░░░░░░ describe you It seems ░░░░░░░░ clear what they re ░░░░░░░░ to do here at ░░░░░░░░ to me Not only ░░░░░░░░ you they going after ░░░░░░░░ but they re really ░░░░░░░░ to attack groups of ░░░░░░░░ you ve defended in ░░░░░░░░ past including trans people ░░░░░░░░ others What do you ░░░░░░░░ of that Yeah there ░░░░░░░░ been a lot of ░░░░░░░░ in this race about ░░░░░░░░ it means to be ░░░░░░░░ real man And recently ░░░░░░░░ the campaign trail I ░░░░░░░░ the story of my ░░░░░░░░ dad the man who ░░░░░░░░ me his last name ░░░░░░░░ man who raised me ░░░░░░░░ his own Every Saturday ░░░░░░░░ mark Talarico would mow ░░░░░░░░ lawn whether it was ░░░░░░░░ or shine whether he ░░░░░░░░ to or not he ░░░░░░░░ on mowing our lawn ░░░░░░░░ And then without anyone ░░░░░░░░ him to he would ░░░░░░░░ next door and mow ░░░░░░░░ neighbor s lawn because ░░░░░░░░ neighbor was elderly She ░░░░░░░░ a widow and my ░░░░░░░░ never talked about it ░░░░░░░░ just did it because ░░░░░░░░ s what a man ░░░░░░░░ A man takes responsibility ░░░░░░░░ man upholds his commitments ░░░░░░░░ his family and his ░░░░░░░░ A man does what ░░░░░░░░ right even when no ░░░░░░░░ is watching And here ░░░░░░░░ what real men don ░░░░░░░░ do They don t ░░░░░░░░ and cheat their way ░░░░░░░░ life They don t ░░░░░░░░ their soul to the ░░░░░░░░ bidder They don t ░░░░░░░░ from other people in ░░░░░░░░ to enrich themselves And ░░░░░░░░ I ve said before ░░░░░░░░ I will keep saying ░░░░░░░░ real men serve others ░░░░░░░░ men serve themselves And ░░░░░░░░ I welcome this debate ░░░░░░░░ what it means to ░░░░░░░░ a man And I ░░░░░░░░ t think Ken Paxton ░░░░░░░░ Ted Cruz are in ░░░░░░░░ position to tell anybody ░░░░░░░░ a real man is ░░░░░░░░ of this has also ░░░░░░░░ kind of revealed this ░░░░░░░░ on your own dating ░░░░░░░░ Your girlfriend has had ░░░░░░░░ pictures been out there ░░░░░░░░ have dug into your ░░░░░░░░ personal life I know ░░░░░░░░ you knew that people ░░░░░░░░ dig into your life ░░░░░░░░ you ran for office ░░░░░░░░ but what does that ░░░░░░░░ been like for you ░░░░░░░░ I mean it s ░░░░░░░░ compared to what Texans ░░░░░░░░ going through every day ░░░░░░░░ know I again I ░░░░░░░░ all over the state ░░░░░░░░ I get to talk ░░░░░░░░ Texans from all different ░░░░░░░░ from all across the ░░░░░░░░ spectrum And Texans are ░░░░░░░░ right now in a ░░░░░░░░ that we haven t ░░░░░░░░ before And again it ░░░░░░░░ not to afford nice ░░░░░░░░ It s to afford ░░░░░░░░ basic things the necessities ░░░░░░░░ and gas and insurance ░░░░░░░░ child care prescription drugs ░░░░░░░░ education housing We can ░░░░░░░░ even afford our rent ░░░░░░░░ our mortgage And so ░░░░░░░░ fact that politicians including ░░░░░░░░ sitting United States senator ░░░░░░░░ Cruz are throwing embarrassing ░░░░░░░░ nicknames at their political ░░░░░░░░ instead of focusing on ░░░░░░░░ Texans lives to me ░░░░░░░░ that is that s ░░░░░░░░ that s wrong with ░░░░░░░░ politics And it s ░░░░░░░░ people are so fed ░░░░░░░░ with this broken system ░░░░░░░░ s because it doesn ░░░░░░░░ serve them It doesn ░░░░░░░░ actually improve their lives ░░░░░░░░ s it looks a ░░░░░░░░ more like professional wrestling ░░░░░░░░ You ve got these ░░░░░░░░ guys lathered up in ░░░░░░░░ fake tan throwing cheesy ░░░░░░░░ at each other And ░░░░░░░░ nicknames they don t ░░░░░░░░ the cost of groceries ░░░░░░░░ don t lower the ░░░░░░░░ of gas or utilities ░░░░░░░░ insurance And so I ░░░░░░░░ going to keep talking ░░░░░░░░ the things that Texans ░░░░░░░░ care about I m ░░░░░░░░ to keep proposing solutions ░░░░░░░░ make their lives easier ░░░░░░░░ better and less stressful ░░░░░░░░ ultimately I think that ░░░░░░░░ going to win the ░░░░░░░░ in our state in ░░░░░░░░ It does tell you ░░░░░░░░ the attacks sometimes tell ░░░░░░░░ more about the attacker ░░░░░░░░ they tell you about ░░░░░░░░ person they are attacking.
