Obama: I’ve Sought God’s Guidance Throughout My Presidency

“But still it s ░░░░░░░░ to get caught up ░░░░░░░░ the rush of our ░░░░░░░░ and in the political ░░░░░░░░ and forth that can ░░░░░░░░ over this city We ░░░░░░░░ sidetracked with distractions large ░░░░░░░░ small We can t ░░░░░░░░ 10 minutes without checking ░░░░░░░░ smartphones and for my ░░░░░░░░ that s every 10 ░░░░░░░░ And so for 63 ░░░░░░░░ this prayer tradition has ░░░░░░░░ us together giving us ░░░░░░░░ opportunity to come together ░░░░░░░░ humility before the Almighty ░░░░░░░░ to be reminded of ░░░░░░░░ it is that we ░░░░░░░░ as children of God ░░░░░░░░ certainly for me this ░░░░░░░░ always a chance to ░░░░░░░░ on my own faith ░░░░░░░░ Many times as President ░░░░░░░░ ve been reminded of ░░░░░░░░ line of prayer that ░░░░░░░░ Roosevelt was fond of ░░░░░░░░ said Keep us at ░░░░░░░░ too hard for us ░░░░░░░░ we may be driven ░░░░░░░░ Thee for strength Keep ░░░░░░░░ at tasks too hard ░░░░░░░░ us that we may ░░░░░░░░ driven to Thee for ░░░░░░░░ I ve wondered at ░░░░░░░░ if maybe God was ░░░░░░░░ that prayer a little ░░░░░░░░ literally But no matter ░░░░░░░░ challenge He has been ░░░░░░░░ for all of us ░░░░░░░░ s certainly strengthened me ░░░░░░░░ the power through his ░░░░░░░░ as I ve sought ░░░░░░░░ guidance not just in ░░░░░░░░ own life but in ░░░░░░░░ life of our nation.”
