BERMAN Again since you ░░░░░░░░ March and before there ░░░░░░░░ predictions that the tariffs ░░░░░░░░ granted a lot of ░░░░░░░░ have been pulled back ░░░░░░░░ of them have been ░░░░░░░░ back but all that ░░░░░░░░ policy was going to ░░░░░░░░ perhaps to inflation would ░░░░░░░░ to job losses predictions ░░░░░░░░ doom that doom just ░░░░░░░░ t happened yet FOROOHAR ░░░░░░░░ hasn t happened And ░░░░░░░░ know John I ve ░░░░░░░░ doing a lot of ░░░░░░░░ on this topic and ░░░░░░░░ I m hearing is ░░░░░░░░ for the last few ░░░░░░░░ really since Covid but ░░░░░░░░ before companies have realized ░░░░░░░░ their supply chains can ░░░░░░░░ interrupted for lots of ░░░░░░░░ for for a virus ░░░░░░░░ a geopolitical event for ░░░░░░░░ war for a climate ░░░░░░░░ and so they ve ░░░░░░░░ using technology to really ░░░░░░░░ things they ve been ░░░░░░░░ their their systems in ░░░░░░░░ and there s just ░░░░░░░░ lot more efficiency in ░░░░░░░░ system now In some ░░░░░░░░ I think this is ░░░░░░░░ triumph of business and ░░░░░░░░ business has been optimizing ░░░░░░░░ that said when we ░░░░░░░░ about who s going ░░░░░░░░ do well in this ░░░░░░░░ it s going to ░░░░░░░░ big businesses I am ░░░░░░░░ that there s more ░░░░░░░░ on small and mid ░░░░░░░░ businesses that will be ░░░░░░░░ less able to cope ░░░░░░░░ whatever tariff inflationary impact ░░░░░░░░ do see That concerns ░░░░░░░░ because small and mid ░░░░░░░░ businesses are what fuels ░░░░░░░░ lot of communities around ░░░░░░░░ country If you see ░░░░░░░░ going under because they ░░░░░░░░ t take even a ░░░░░░░░ bit of tariff pressure ░░░░░░░░ could have a jobs ░░░░░░░░ So again optimistic right ░░░░░░░░ but it s you ░░░░░░░░ there are some issues ░░░░░░░░ the horizon still BERMAN ░░░░░░░░ right But a good ░░░░░░░░ report one more good ░░░░░░░░ report FOROOHAN Yeah BERMAN ░░░░░░░░ ve really seen a ░░░░░░░░ run we re talking ░░░░░░░░ long run here of ░░░░░░░░ FOROOHAR Yeah BERMAN at ░░░░░░░░ point Rana Foroohar great ░░░░░░░░ see you Thank you ░░░░░░░░ much.
