BRENBERG Jackie you know ░░░░░░░░ ve talked a lot ░░░░░░░░ China s export situation ░░░░░░░░ we know exports to ░░░░░░░░ U S have come ░░░░░░░░ down There was a ░░░░░░░░ in the Journal today ░░░░░░░░ how they ve sort ░░░░░░░░ they say they ve ░░░░░░░░ of moved those exports ░░░░░░░░ other countries in the ░░░░░░░░ DEANGELIS Right BRENBERG Now ░░░░░░░░ suspect you re skeptical ░░░░░░░░ that DEANGELIS Yes BRENBERG ░░░░░░░░ I am So why ░░░░░░░░ t you go ahead ░░░░░░░░ your skepticism DEANGELIS OK ░░░░░░░░ this is a moment ░░░░░░░░ you read my mind ░░░░░░░░ you came to me ░░░░░░░░ this one I was ░░░░░░░░ that you would because ░░░░░░░░ That was not coordinated ░░░░░░░░ was just reading mind ░░░░░░░░ I m thinking about ░░░░░░░░ know how China puts ░░░░░░░░ messaging out there They ░░░░░░░░ about everything When they ░░░░░░░░ t want you to ░░░░░░░░ something they don t ░░░░░░░░ you the numbers at ░░░░░░░░ And that even exacerbates ░░░░░░░░ problem Their exports to ░░░░░░░░ U S are going ░░░░░░░░ be down And listen ░░░░░░░░ s a double edged ░░░░░░░░ because you know we ░░░░░░░░ with them and we ░░░░░░░░ each other So that ░░░░░░░░ just sort of put ░░░░░░░░ there But I m ░░░░░░░░ back yesterday to this ░░░░░░░░ deal that Trump and ░░░░░░░░ and the whole team ░░░░░░░░ with the U K ░░░░░░░░ they were talking about ░░░░░░░░ power Part of this ░░░░░░░░ non tariff barriers They ░░░░░░░░ to shift some of ░░░░░░░░ buying power They got ░░░░░░░░ billion in agricultural exports ░░░░░░░░ part of this deal ░░░░░░░░ was increased And I ░░░░░░░░ if you do that ░░░░░░░░ you do it with ░░░░░░░░ country it might have ░░░░░░░░ bit you know a ░░░░░░░░ significant impact And then ░░░░░░░░ think about what the ░░░░░░░░ K was saying They ░░░░░░░░ saying this isn t ░░░░░░░░ to hurt us by ░░░░░░░░ know killing jobs or ░░░░░░░░ our economy in any ░░░░░░░░ It s our buying ░░░░░░░░ that we re shifting ░░░░░░░░ taking other things from ░░░░░░░░ countries and we re ░░░░░░░░ to take them from ░░░░░░░░ And that s what ░░░░░░░░ think the president was ░░░░░░░░ to say just earlier ░░░░░░░░ week when he said ░░░░░░░░ re the world s ░░░░░░░░ luxury store And there ░░░░░░░░ going to be a ░░░░░░░░ of entry if you ░░░░░░░░ to shop here but ░░░░░░░░ s going to want ░░░░░░░░ shop here And I ░░░░░░░░ that s what he ░░░░░░░░ trying to do And ░░░░░░░░ you start doing that ░░░░░░░░ re going to start ░░░░░░░░ little bits and pieces ░░░░░░░░ from other countries including ░░░░░░░░ And so they re ░░░░░░░░ the excuse and saying ░░░░░░░░ but we re getting ░░░░░░░░ business from other countries ░░░░░░░░ have to say something ░░░░░░░░ but I m not ░░░░░░░░ sure that that is ░░░░░░░░ this will play out ░░░░░░░░ 80 percent I will ░░░░░░░░ say it doesn t ░░░░░░░░ mean much to me ░░░░░░░░ same way that first ░░░░░░░░ list didn t mean ░░░░░░░░ to me the 145 ░░░░░░░░ didn t either They ░░░░░░░░ having conversations and they ░░░░░░░░ talking and I think ░░░░░░░░ re going to get ░░░░░░░░ a better place that ░░░░░░░░ not 10 percent because ░░░░░░░░ was on the low ░░░░░░░░ for the U K ░░░░░░░░ they re going to ░░░░░░░░ to a place I ░░░░░░░░ eventually through this Art ░░░░░░░░ the Deal David that ░░░░░░░░ be better.”
