in in ░░░░░░░░ in the House and ░░░░░░░░ Senate of three seats ░░░░░░░░ And that s better ░░░░░░░░ it was a couple ░░░░░░░░ ago before the special ░░░░░░░░ in Florida when it ░░░░░░░░ pretty much a one ░░░░░░░░ majority So have a ░░░░░░░░ more wiggle room but ░░░░░░░░ much And so they ░░░░░░░░ ve got to get ░░░░░░░░ bill through uh a ░░░░░░░░ passage in the Senate ░░░░░░░░ in the House And ░░░░░░░░ ve got um a ░░░░░░░░ of supply side uh ░░░░░░░░ uh tax cut oriented ░░░░░░░░ and senators like who ░░░░░░░░ with Steve Moore and ░░░░░░░░ think you and me ░░░░░░░░ want to see a ░░░░░░░░ uh robust uh tax ░░░░░░░░ and but you do ░░░░░░░░ some nervous people who ░░░░░░░░ well you know maybe ░░░░░░░░ s cutting too much ░░░░░░░░ you know they have ░░░░░░░░ have offset uh spending ░░░░░░░░ uh equal to whatever ░░░░░░░░ the tax cut is ░░░░░░░░ some of the folks ░░░░░░░░ where I live in ░░░░░░░░ New York area they ░░░░░░░░ to see the restoration ░░░░░░░░ the state and local ░░░░░░░░ deduction before they ll ░░░░░░░░ for this So you ░░░░░░░░ a lot of things ░░░░░░░░ on here as you ░░░░░░░░ Um I think the ░░░░░░░░ thing these guys ought ░░░░░░░░ do as I suggest ░░░░░░░░ my article in the ░░░░░░░░ Spectator the headline is ░░░░░░░░ with GOP tax hike ░░░░░░░░ Uh this whole idea ░░░░░░░░ Republicans increasing taxes uh ░░░░░░░░ want there s some ░░░░░░░░ about raising a top ░░░░░░░░ top rate on millionaires ░░░░░░░░ billionaires to 40 If ░░░░░░░░ do that that would ░░░░░░░░ the tax rate higher ░░░░░░░░ uh Biden or Obama ░░░░░░░░ Bill Clinton taxed millionaires ░░░░░░░░ billionaires So imagine the ░░░░░░░░ and ugly irony that ░░░░░░░░ be And just the ░░░░░░░░ of Republicans having control ░░░░░░░░ the White House and ░░░░░░░░ House and the Senate ░░░░░░░░ proposing any kind of ░░░░░░░░ tax increase would be ░░░░░░░░ of like having god ░░░░░░░░ Camala Harris having won ░░░░░░░░ White House Uh Chuck ░░░░░░░░ runs the Senate Hakeem ░░░░░░░░ is the speaker of ░░░░░░░░ House And then the ░░░░░░░░ with full control of ░░░░░░░░ D C say You ░░░░░░░░ what we ought to ░░░░░░░░ We should uh cut ░░░░░░░░ all federal funding for ░░░░░░░░ Parenthood I don t ░░░░░░░░ that would happen I ░░░░░░░░ t think anybody would ░░░░░░░░ that Nobody certainly would ░░░░░░░░ it out loud And ░░░░░░░░ we have GOP control ░░░░░░░░ the White House the ░░░░░░░░ and the Senate And ░░░░░░░░ have some Republicans Republicans ░░░░░░░░ Well maybe we should ░░░░░░░░ taxes Uh no Republicans ░░░░░░░░ put on earth to ░░░░░░░░ taxes not raise them ░░░░░░░░ especially when there s ░░░░░░░░ uh offsetting benefits such ░░░░░░░░ let s say if ░░░░░░░░ agree to a higher ░░░░░░░░ of taxes on millionaires ░░░░░░░░ in exchange the the ░░░░░░░░ said Okay we will ░░░░░░░░ to begin a new ░░░░░░░░ of personal uh uh ░░░░░░░░ and savings accounts within ░░░░░░░░ Security that uh individual ░░░░░░░░ could control rather than ░░░░░░░░ government Now that might ░░░░░░░░ a worthy trade off ░░░░░░░░ but just to increase ░░░░░░░░ uh completely lose that ░░░░░░░░ signature issue that Republicans ░░░░░░░░ had really since the ░░░░░░░░ of Ronald Reagan uh ░░░░░░░░ be stupid and short ░░░░░░░░ and totally counterproductive We ░░░░░░░░ speaking with Dory Murdoch ░░░░░░░░ encourage you to read ░░░░░░░░ piece on this particular ░░░░░░░░ and the spectator and ░░░░░░░░ can share that as ░░░░░░░░ way for anybody who ░░░░░░░░ wobbly on this to ░░░░░░░░ about it is that ░░░░░░░░ isn t just a ░░░░░░░░ cut What we re ░░░░░░░░ really is preventing the ░░░░░░░░ tax increase in American ░░░░░░░░ because if the GOP ░░░░░░░░ not make the the ░░░░░░░░ uh tax cuts permanent ░░░░░░░░ expire on January 1 ░░░░░░░░ if that happens you ░░░░░░░░ going to get a ░░░░░░░░ really I think the ░░░░░░░░ tax increase on the ░░░░░░░░ people uh ever And ░░░░░░░░ s not really a ░░░░░░░░ posture in which to ░░░░░░░░ into the year of ░░░░░░░░ midterm elections That s ░░░░░░░░ really good way in ░░░░░░░░ to prepare yourselves uh ░░░░░░░░ the GOP to prepare ░░░░░░░░ to lose the House ░░░░░░░░ the Senate and then ░░░░░░░░ can spend uh the ░░░░░░░░ two years after that ░░░░░░░░ with impeachment three impeachment ░░░░░░░░ impeachment of Pam Bondi ░░░░░░░░ impeachment of Pete Hegath ░░░░░░░░ impeachment of of uh ░░░░░░░░ Rubio etc et all ░░░░░░░░ all the time and ░░░░░░░░ nothing productive will get ░░░░░░░░ and a lot of ░░░░░░░░ things will happen So ░░░░░░░░ the GOP wants to ░░░░░░░░ control of the House ░░░░░░░░ Senate it would be ░░░░░░░░ smart for them to ░░░░░░░░ this tax tax cut ░░░░░░░░ onto President Trump s ░░░░░░░░ as soon as possible ░░░░░░░░ don t think this ░░░░░░░░ to be done like ░░░░░░░░ Day or July 4th ░░░░░░░░ ought to be done ░░░░░░░░ personally think it should ░░░░░░░░ been done on April ░░░░░░░░ on tax day Uh ░░░░░░░░ these guys were not ░░░░░░░░ vacation but voting in ░░░░░░░░ today they might be ░░░░░░░░ to get it on ░░░░░░░░ desk by May 1st ░░░░░░░░ think that s unlikely ░░░░░░░░ but at the latest ░░░░░░░░ should be Memorial Day ░░░░░░░░ every day sooner than ░░░░░░░░ would be better Dory ░░░░░░░░ with us right now ░░░░░░░░ m thinking about the ░░░░░░░░ tax cuts be made ░░░░░░░░ I don t think ░░░░░░░░ s going to be ░░░░░░░░ great rejoicing in the ░░░░░░░░ because I don t ░░░░░░░░ people are paying attention ░░░░░░░░ that It seems like ░░░░░░░░ s a lot of ░░░░░░░░ for negative reaction and ░░░░░░░░ it s a must ░░░░░░░░ to make these tax ░░░░░░░░ permanent just to keep ░░░░░░░░ status quo I m ░░░░░░░░ what you think are ░░░░░░░░ major issues that will ░░░░░░░░ people who gave the ░░░░░░░░ Party a chance in ░░░░░░░░ the motivation to show ░░░░░░░░ in 2026 and maybe ░░░░░░░░ that Republican majority in ░░░░░░░░ House a few seats ░░░░░░░░ and retain the one ░░░░░░░░ the Senate as well ░░░░░░░░ are those issues Uh ░░░░░░░░ question I think if ░░░░░░░░ have a booming economy ░░░░░░░░ I think will happen ░░░░░░░░ we get this big ░░░░░░░░ tax cut bill uh ░░░░░░░░ into law the economy ░░░░░░░░ take off I think ░░░░░░░░ of the reasons the ░░░░░░░░ is sluggish now is ░░░░░░░░ lot of uncertainty People ░░░░░░░░ not sure if the ░░░░░░░░ will pass What will ░░░░░░░░ tax rates be like ░░░░░░░░ year What will the ░░░░░░░░ situation be And so ░░░░░░░░ are holding back on ░░░░░░░░ and and produ and ░░░░░░░░ um starting new companies ░░░░░░░░ business operations etc And ░░░░░░░░ s keeping things held ░░░░░░░░ Uh I think if ░░░░░░░░ do get certainty on ░░░░░░░░ tax rates especially as ░░░░░░░░ Moore said at 15 ░░░░░░░░ corporate tax versus 21 ░░░░░░░░ if you produce in ░░░░░░░░ United States of America ░░░░░░░░ will be a huge ░░░░░░░░ in the arm for ░░░░░░░░ economy Uh I think ░░░░░░░░ will pick up if ░░░░░░░░ economy is humming along ░░░░░░░░ next year I think ░░░░░░░░ GOP will do well ░░░░░░░░ the midterms Um I ░░░░░░░░ if the situation the ░░░░░░░░ remains under control that ░░░░░░░░ a big plus for ░░░░░░░░ GOP I mean we ░░░░░░░░ I think I ve ░░░░░░░░ recently that uh in ░░░░░░░░ by one measurement u ░░░░░░░░ people coming across the ░░░░░░░░ are down 99 versus ░░░░░░░░ they were under Biden ░░░░░░░░ mean that s basically ░░░░░░░░ of the border That ░░░░░░░░ astonishing Probably the tightest ░░░░░░░░ border has been in ░░░░░░░░ lifetimes Uh I think ░░░░░░░░ the um situation with ░░░░░░░░ tariff settles down and ░░░░░░░░ have trade deals and ░░░░░░░░ that pub goes away ░░░░░░░░ ll be a very ░░░░░░░░ plus And I think ░░░░░░░░ we have um either ░░░░░░░░ in Russia and Ukraine ░░░░░░░░ peace in the Middle ░░░░░░░░ between Israel and Hamas ░░░░░░░░ better yet Hamas get ░░░░░░░░ gets totally wiped out ░░░░░░░░ and even if we ░░░░░░░░ some sort of an ░░░░░░░░ deal to keep the ░░░░░░░░ from having nuclear weapons ░░░░░░░░ think that ll be ░░░░░░░░ big positive And President ░░░░░░░░ and the GOP will ░░░░░░░░ able to go to ░░░░░░░░ to the American people ░░░░░░░░ say You put us ░░░░░░░░ office two years ago ░░░░░░░░ ve brought you peace ░░░░░░░░ ve brought you prosperity ░░░░░░░░ ve brought everything back ░░░░░░░░ normal And we ve ░░░░░░░░ the chaos of uh ░░░░░░░░ the Biden
