Alec Baldwin Warns ‘We Are in a Pre-Civil War’ Environment

BALDWIN So I thought ░░░░░░░░ would post something that ░░░░░░░░ ve been thinking about ░░░░░░░░ is that yesterday I ░░░░░░░░ it was on Monday ░░░░░░░░ traveled home from my ░░░░░░░░ abroad on Monday And ░░░░░░░░ came home and without ░░░░░░░░ explicable provocation without any ░░░░░░░░ this being purely subconscious ░░░░░░░░ don t know why ░░░░░░░░ don t really live ░░░░░░░░ much in the subconscious ░░░░░░░░ of all my kids ░░░░░░░░ s pretty much right ░░░░░░░░ front of me and ░░░░░░░░ but in the world ░░░░░░░░ the subconscious I reached ░░░░░░░░ the television and I ░░░░░░░░ to my PBS you ░░░░░░░░ passport account whatever it ░░░░░░░░ called these days to ░░░░░░░░ Ken Burns The Civil ░░░░░░░░ I have no idea ░░░░░░░░ Something told me somebody ░░░░░░░░ let my hand to ░░░░░░░░ up the remote and ░░░░░░░░ on my television coughs ░░░░░░░░ And watch Ken Burns ░░░░░░░░ famous mini series And ░░░░░░░░ you can see now ░░░░░░░░ we are in a ░░░░░░░░ Civil War culture now ░░░░░░░░ they describe things back ░░░░░░░░ politically there are profound ░░░░░░░░ of course in terms ░░░░░░░░ just history and age ░░░░░░░░ you know what life ░░░░░░░░ like back then and ░░░░░░░░ and slavery and Lincoln ░░░░░░░░ Robert E Lee and ░░░░░░░░ forth There s just ░░░░░░░░ many this incredible story ░░░░░░░░ that this country had ░░░░░░░░ go through that awful ░░░░░░░░ as a story it ░░░░░░░░ just overwhelmingly powerful and ░░░░░░░░ But I look at ░░░░░░░░ politics of it of ░░░░░░░░ people are in this ░░░░░░░░ today in the division ░░░░░░░░ how they re holding ░░░░░░░░ and no one s ░░░░░░░░ to falter no one ░░░░░░░░ going to break or ░░░░░░░░ And it s bad ░░░░░░░░ I think in terms ░░░░░░░░ that I m trying ░░░░░░░░ stop from yawning because ░░░░░░░░ m so tired from ░░░░░░░░ jet lag but in ░░░░░░░░ to in order for ░░░░░░░░ to get anywhere it ░░░░░░░░ t seem likely right ░░░░░░░░ And watching this show ░░░░░░░░ reminded me of how ░░░░░░░░ are in a very ░░░░░░░░ state now in a ░░░░░░░░ Civil War culture in ░░░░░░░░ pre Civil War environment ░░░░░░░░ s hard to believe ░░░░░░░░ you have some time ░░░░░░░░ you re looking for ░░░░░░░░ good to watch on ░░░░░░░░ find in any way ░░░░░░░░ can on the internet ░░░░░░░░ Burns epic epic piece ░░░░░░░░ Civil War It s ░░░░░░░░ s remarkable.”
