BERMAN I was reading ░░░░░░░░ the Pennsylvania papers I ░░░░░░░░ perusing the Commonwealth journalism ░░░░░░░░ did a town hall ░░░░░░░░ in your district by ░░░░░░░░ way you did a ░░░░░░░░ hall outside your district ░░░░░░░░ I think you re ░░░░░░░░ running for governor there ░░░░░░░░ I am curious and ░░░░░░░░ is an opening question ░░░░░░░░ are you hearing from ░░░░░░░░ on tariffs And is ░░░░░░░░ universal Because the president ░░░░░░░░ these car tariffs on ░░░░░░░░ and car parts really ░░░░░░░░ raise prices by thousands ░░░░░░░░ dollars on cars Are ░░░░░░░░ hearing concerns among voters ░░░░░░░░ Well yeah I did ░░░░░░░░ one outside my district ░░░░░░░░ was saying my office ░░░░░░░░ all things Pennsylvania and ░░░░░░░░ always have you know ░░░░░░░░ my district we venture ░░░░░░░░ on occasion I ve ░░░░░░░░ many town halls farmer ░░░░░░░░ halls small business town ░░░░░░░░ veteran town halls you ░░░░░░░░ it And that one ░░░░░░░░ to be in the ░░░░░░░░ area because they they ░░░░░░░░ me to come in ░░░░░░░░ tariffs are a concern ░░░░░░░░ there s a lot ░░░░░░░░ things that are concerned ░░░░░░░░ is a concern Interest ░░░░░░░░ are a concern Manufacturing ░░░░░░░░ a concern A trade ░░░░░░░░ a concern The border ░░░░░░░░ is no longer a ░░░░░░░░ And crime is a ░░░░░░░░ in Pennsylvania So so ░░░░░░░░ we re what we ░░░░░░░░ doing is regarding the ░░░░░░░░ taxes are a a ░░░░░░░░ Here we have the ░░░░░░░░ refusing to continue the ░░░░░░░░ Trump s tax cut ░░░░░░░░ Jobs Act and yet ░░░░░░░░ screaming and yelling that ░░░░░░░░ my God don t ░░░░░░░░ t don t tax ░░░░░░░░ E tariff foreign manufacturers ░░░░░░░░ it s OK to ░░░░░░░░ those evil American corporations ░░░░░░░░ doesn t make any ░░░░░░░░ So what we re ░░░░░░░░ the president s trying ░░░░░░░░ do what we re ░░░░░░░░ to do is create ░░░░░░░░ create reciprocity create a ░░░░░░░░ playing field for the ░░░░░░░░ And in the end ░░░░░░░░ that s going to ░░░░░░░░ the United States domestic ░░░░░░░░ because the world is ░░░░░░░░ to be much more ░░░░░░░░ a customer when we ░░░░░░░░ down the tariffs that ░░░░░░░░ have on us That ░░░░░░░░ the goal breaking down ░░░░░░░░ tariffs on us The ░░░░░░░░ would like them to ░░░░░░░░ zero percent but they ░░░░░░░░ going to be reciprocal ░░░░░░░░ some point There are ░░░░░░░░ Look we ve had ░░░░░░░░ really bad you may ░░░░░░░░ agree four years We ░░░░░░░░ ve got economic trouble ░░░░░░░░ got national security trouble ░░░░░░░░ got energy trouble We ░░░░░░░░ border trouble These things ░░░░░░░░ going to be corrected ░░░░░░░░ got a government that ░░░░░░░░ spending two trillion dollars ░░░░░░░░ a year than we ░░░░░░░░ OK so we ve ░░░░░░░░ to get some reductions ░░░░░░░░ need growth And that ░░░░░░░░ what the president his ░░░░░░░░ his plan is and ░░░░░░░░ s what he s ░░░░░░░░ to lead.”
