COLLINS My first source ░░░░░░░░ start us off tonight ░░░░░░░░ this breaking news is ░░░░░░░░ Haberman The New York ░░░░░░░░ Senior Political Correspondent and ░░░░░░░░ CNN political analyst And ░░░░░░░░ it s great to ░░░░░░░░ you What have you ░░░░░░░░ about how Trump and ░░░░░░░░ national security officials came ░░░░░░░░ this decision They ve ░░░░░░░░ talking about it But ░░░░░░░░ wasn t until later ░░░░░░░░ afternoon because Trump said ░░░░░░░░ that he had not ░░░░░░░░ been involved in this ░░░░░░░░ now this decision has ░░░░░░░░ made HABERMAN Kaitlan my ░░░░░░░░ is this was a ░░░░░░░░ quick decision This is ░░░░░░░░ they were headed over ░░░░░░░░ weekend We all saw ░░░░░░░░ happened you were there ░░░░░░░░ Friday There has been ░░░░░░░░ of blame being issued ░░░░░░░░ the White House toward ░░░░░░░░ Zelenskyy for what took ░░░░░░░░ And Trump was pretty ░░░░░░░░ about it on Friday ░░░░░░░░ the Oval Office which ░░░░░░░░ You don t have ░░░░░░░░ cards to Zelenskyy That ░░░░░░░░ half true That s ░░░░░░░░ not true There are ░░░░░░░░ who could step up ░░░░░░░░ that s not the ░░░░░░░░ thing that Zelenskyy wants ░░░░░░░░ this is what Trump ░░░░░░░░ wanted for a while ░░░░░░░░ thinks that it doesn ░░░░░░░░ hurt him with his ░░░░░░░░ I will say Kaitlan ░░░░░░░░ is true that support ░░░░░░░░ the effort in Ukraine ░░░░░░░░ dwindled since this first ░░░░░░░░ in 2022 At the ░░░░░░░░ time support for Russia ░░░░░░░░ support for Putin is ░░░░░░░░ high And so Trump ░░░░░░░░ testing the bounds of ░░░░░░░░ far he can go ░░░░░░░░ this We know that ░░░░░░░░ has long questioned aid ░░░░░░░░ Ukraine He has not ░░░░░░░░ Ukraine as a necessary ░░░░░░░░ in Europe He has ░░░░░░░░ you know he has ░░░░░░░░ this all as if ░░░░░░░░ is a financial prospect ░░░░░░░░ he has seen it ░░░░░░░░ through economic lenses and ░░░░░░░░ has asked virtually no ░░░░░░░░ from Putin while asking ░░░░░░░░ from Zelenskyy So whether ░░░░░░░░ actually changes anything remains ░░░░░░░░ be seen But this ░░░░░░░░ where this was always ░░░░░░░░ in the form of ░░░░░░░░ you say a pause ░░░░░░░░ completely ending everything especially ░░░░░░░░ it s been congressionally ░░░░░░░░ But it s what ░░░░░░░░ can do in his ░░░░░░░░
