    RUSH TRANSCRIPT WHITFIELD A ░░░░░░░░ email went out last ░░░░░░░░ telling federal employees to ░░░░░░░░ what they did at ░░░░░░░░ over the past week ░░░░░░░░ latest email carried the ░░░░░░░░ what did you do ░░░░░░░░ week Part two and ░░░░░░░░ those federal workers that ░░░░░░░░ their work will now ░░░░░░░░ a weekly requirement according ░░░░░░░░ a union representative The ░░░░░░░░ went out to workers ░░░░░░░░ multiple government agencies CNN ░░░░░░░░ House correspondent Arlette Saenz ░░░░░░░░ joining us now with ░░░░░░░░ on this Arlette what ░░░░░░░░ can you tell us ░░░░░░░░ Well Fred it s ░░░░░░░░ two for these federal ░░░░░░░░ who are being asked ░░░░░░░░ detail their accomplishments for ░░░░░░░░ week These emails started ░░░░░░░░ go out to various ░░░░░░░░ On Friday night There ░░░░░░░░ at least nine agencies ░░░░░░░░ departments that we know ░░░░░░░░ where employees began to ░░░░░░░░ these emails That includes ░░░░░░░░ bureau of prisons veterans ░░░░░░░░ and the education department ░░░░░░░░ in this email it ░░░░░░░░ them to provide the ░░░░░░░░ bullet points of what ░░░░░░░░ accomplished and to copy ░░░░░░░░ their management managers Now ░░░░░░░░ s a little different ░░░░░░░░ the email that went ░░░░░░░░ this week compared to ░░░░░░░░ initial email from last ░░░░░░░░ is that this is ░░░░░░░░ saying that this will ░░░░░░░░ a weekly requirement with ░░░░░░░░ required to submit their ░░░░░░░░ by 11 59 P ░░░░░░░░ on Monday night It ░░░░░░░░ unclear whether there are ░░░░░░░░ repercussions if people do ░░░░░░░░ submit but it does ░░░░░░░░ after after there was ░░░░░░░░ confusion with that initial ░░░░░░░░ You remember Elon Musk ░░░░░░░░ posted on x that ░░░░░░░░ to respond would essentially ░░░░░░░░ resignation later right before ░░░░░░░░ Monday deadline this past ░░░░░░░░ opm sent guidance saying ░░░░░░░░ it was simply voluntary ░░░░░░░░ there s a lot ░░░░░░░░ questions for these federal ░░░░░░░░ going forward Now I ░░░░░░░░ told that this morning ░░░░░░░░ at least one agency ░░░░░░░░ State Department actually sent ░░░░░░░░ email to their employees ░░░░░░░░ them not to respond ░░░░░░░░ State Department leadership had ░░░░░░░░ this email saying that ░░░░░░░░ would be the department ░░░░░░░░ that will continue to ░░░░░░░░ on behalf of its ░░░░░░░░ and employees until otherwise ░░░░░░░░ The State Department was ░░░░░░░░ of a few departments ░░░░░░░░ had told their employees ░░░░░░░░ to respond earlier in ░░░░░░░░ week There is a ░░░░░░░░ at one of those ░░░░░░░░ that previously had told ░░░░░░░░ not to respond the ░░░░░░░░ actually defense secretary Pete ░░░░░░░░ sent out a memo ░░░░░░░░ asking all civilian employees ░░░░░░░░ respond to this email ░░░░░░░░ they receive it on ░░░░░░░░ So there s a ░░░░░░░░ of different information a ░░░░░░░░ of different instructions for ░░░░░░░░ workers at this moment ░░░░░░░░ they re trying to ░░░░░░░░ out—“
