can barely take what ░░░░░░░░ been happening since January ░░░░░░░░ without you gentlemen Really ░░░░░░░░ ladies being involved what ░░░░░░░░ you have in store ░░░░░░░░ us Well good morning ░░░░░░░░ to be with you ░░░░░░░░ there s a lot ░░░░░░░░ good things in store ░░░░░░░░ know every step of ░░░░░░░░ way Since President Trump ░░░░░░░░ sworn in now in ░░░░░░░░ second term we ve ░░░░░░░░ working with him very ░░░░░░░░ on the things they ░░░░░░░░ doing You know clearly ░░░░░░░░ what the doge is ░░░░░░░░ we re working because ░░░░░░░░ of those items are ░░░░░░░░ to have to be ░░░░░░░░ legislatively to get rid ░░░░░░░░ that wasteful spending but ░░░░░░░░ on what we re ░░░░░░░░ to do to get ░░░░░░░░ economy growing again That ░░░░░░░░ really what we when ░░░░░░░░ get into these budget ░░░░░░░░ and ultimately the budget ░░░░░░░░ process to lock in ░░░░░░░░ Trump tax cuts many ░░░░░░░░ which are expiring at ░░░░░░░░ end of this year ░░░░░░░░ sure don t want ░░░░░░░░ see a massive 4 ░░░░░░░░ trillion tax increase So ░░░░░░░░ have legislation to prevent ░░░░░░░░ to produce more energy ░░░░░░░░ America Some of that ░░░░░░░░ legislative action Clearly we ░░░░░░░░ working with President Trump ░░░░░░░░ what he wants to ░░░░░░░░ to open up more ░░░░░░░░ in America That s ░░░░░░░░ to bring in more ░░░░░░░░ by the way create ░░░░░░░░ jobs lower costs for ░░░░░░░░ so that you can ░░░░░░░░ inflation Build the wall ░░░░░░░░ Trump needs funding to ░░░░░░░░ out the wall to ░░░░░░░░ more technology to our ░░░░░░░░ patrol agents Like drones ░░░░░░░░ night vision goggles so ░░░░░░░░ can better secure our ░░░░░░░░ That s going to ░░░░░░░░ in this bill that ░░░░░░░░ re putting together as ░░░░░░░░ So a lot of ░░░░░░░░ has been going on ░░░░░░░░ the scenes for weeks ░░░░░░░░ But it s time ░░░░░░░░ you know put that ░░░░░░░░ on paper start getting ░░░░░░░░ committees directly involved and ░░░░░░░░ so that we can ░░░░░░░░ this legislation forward In ░░░░░░░░ bill That s what ░░░░░░░░ Looks like One bill ░░░░░░░░ bill That s what ░░░░░░░░ looks like And the ░░░░░░░░ the house the margins ░░░░░░░░ even narrower than during ░░░░░░░░ first Trump presidency You ░░░░░░░░ 22 I think in ░░░░░░░░ vote But you re ░░░░░░░░ going to lose anyone ░░░░░░░░ you think you ll ░░░░░░░░ Everybody s on board ░░░░░░░░ this point Can you ░░░░░░░░ Yeah And that s ░░░░░░░░ s so different about ░░░░░░░░ year than 2017 You ░░░░░░░░ you think back we ░░░░░░░░ as you pointed out ░░░░░░░░ Republicans just on the ░░░░░░░░ before we could even ░░░░░░░░ to the tax cuts ░░░░░░░░ jobs act which really ░░░░░░░░ our country made our ░░░░░░░░ competitive economically again Before ░░░░░░░░ could even bring that ░░░░░░░░ to the floor we ░░░░░░░░ to pass the budget ░░░░░░░░ Losing 22 Republicans this ░░░░░░░░ around we can t ░░░░░░░░ two Republicans you know ░░░░░░░░ maybe not even two ░░░░░░░░ so we re working ░░░░░░░░ closely with all of ░░░░░░░░ members as you know ░░░░░░░░ all of our members ░░░░░░░░ everything the same way ░░░░░░░░ we re having a ░░░░░░░░ of meetings with a ░░░░░░░░ cross section of members ░░░░░░░░ re given a lot ░░░░░░░░ input You know they ░░░░░░░░ got their ideas But ░░░░░░░░ we ve got to ░░░░░░░░ all those ideas together ░░░░░░░░ put it in one ░░░░░░░░ and then everybody s ░░░░░░░░ to vote for that ░░░░░░░░ bill And so we ░░░░░░░░ getting closer You know ░░░░░░░░ ve narrowed a lot ░░░░░░░░ those differences over the ░░░░░░░░ few weeks but we ░░░░░░░░ have 1 or 2 ░░░░░░░░ pieces left And I ░░░░░░░░ we re getting closer ░░░░░░░░ narrowing those as well ░░░░░░░░ we can move the ░░░░░░░░ out of committee I ░░░░░░░░ you want to do ░░░░░░░░ lot that that that ░░░░░░░░ of hurt revenue So ░░░░░░░░ m imagining there must ░░░░░░░░ be big cuts in ░░░░░░░░ somewhere either during the ░░░░░░░░ process or reconciliation How ░░░░░░░░ it 2 000 000 ░░░░░░░░ 002 5 trillion What ░░░░░░░░ are what kind of ░░░░░░░░ do you think are ░░░░░░░░ Yeah those are the ░░░░░░░░ that are being negotiated ░░░░░░░░ know we re already ░░░░░░░░ the way up to ░░░░░░░░ trillion and more in ░░░░░░░░ cuts and savings to ░░░░░░░░ And I m talking ░░░░░░░░ common sense things like ░░░░░░░░ Social Security verification in ░░░░░░░░ of our big programs ░░░░░░░░ mean you ve got ░░░░░░░░ aliens getting major benefits ░░░░░░░░ which they re not ░░░░░░░░ legally eligible to get ░░░░░░░░ there s not enough ░░░░░░░░ you know so you ░░░░░░░░ got a program that ░░░░░░░░ potentially headed for bankruptcy ░░░░░░░░ people who actually paid ░░░░░░░░ it who deserve to ░░░░░░░░ that benefit And yet ░░░░░░░░ are thousands of illegal ░░░░░░░░ that are getting on ░░░░░░░░ program costing it billions ░░░░░░░░ dollars that shouldn t ░░░░░░░░ be on it That ░░░░░░░░ going to be something ░░░░░░░░ go after Work requirements ░░░░░░░░ another thing you know ░░░░░░░░ you can get up ░░░░░░░░ some really big money ░░░░░░░░ here billions there It ░░░░░░░░ up quickly But ultimately ░░░░░░░░ you also have to ░░░░░░░░ in economic growth because ░░░░░░░░ we lock in the ░░░░░░░░ cuts from 2017 which ░░░░░░░░ got our economy moving ░░░░░░░░ millions of jobs there ░░░░░░░░ a lot of uncertainty ░░░░░░░░ now in the economy ░░░░░░░░ m sure you can ░░░░░░░░ it People don t ░░░░░░░░ to make investments because ░░░░░░░░ example the 199 a ░░░░░░░░ away That s a ░░░░░░░░ deduction for small business ░░░░░░░░ so that they get ░░░░░░░░ equalized tax rate as ░░░░░░░░ our corporations do If ░░░░░░░░ take that away every ░░░░░░░░ and medium sized business ░░░░░░░░ America becomes uncompetitive You ░░░░░░░░ t let that happen ░░░░░░░░ that creates uncertainty If ░░░░░░░░ lock these rates in ░░░░░░░░ ll bring a lot ░░░░░░░░ investment into the economy ░░░░░░░░ you open up more ░░░░░░░░ energy it brings more ░░░░░░░░ more investment into America ░░░░░░░░ economy So that growth ░░░░░░░░ factors into offsetting this ░░░░░░░░ so that it becomes ░░░░░░░░ deficit neutral Is there ░░░░░░░░ close scrutiny of Medicaid ░░░░░░░░ something going to happen ░░░░░░░░ I mean it has ░░░░░░░░ enormously in recent years ░░░░░░░░ something there on the ░░░░░░░░ Could it be on ░░░░░░░░ table Well we re ░░░░░░░░ at different things obviously ░░░░░░░░ requirements and Medicaid is ░░░░░░░░ place you would start ░░░░░░░░ as you pointed out ░░░░░░░░ know even going back ░░░░░░░░ Covid Medicaid mushroomed exponentially ░░░░░░░░ millions more people onto ░░░░░░░░ program that did not ░░░░░░░░ not on it before ░░░░░░░░ had private insurance other ░░░░░░░░ of insurance And now ░░░░░░░░ taxpayers of America are ░░░░░░░░ up that tab And ░░░░░░░░ when we re running ░░░░░░░░ to be adding more ░░░░░░░░ on to government programs ░░░░░░░░ taking them off of ░░░░░░░░ sector insurance it doesn ░░░░░░░░ make a lot of ░░░░░░░░ Obviously that was done ░░░░░░░░ the government was spending ░░░░░░░░ of dollars under the ░░░░░░░░ Harris Administration and that ░░░░░░░░ inflation That drove a ░░░░░░░░ of the high costs ░░░░░░░░ pay at the grocery ░░░░░░░░ and other places And ░░░░░░░░ want us to get ░░░░░░░░ under control We re ░░░░░░░░ to get that under ░░░░░░░░ I think that s ░░░░░░░░ people are really excited ░░░░░░░░ what the doge is ░░░░░░░░ to find savings identifying ░░░░░░░░ lot of this ludicrous ░░░░░░░░ at so many of ░░░░░░░░ federal agencies that are ░░░░░░░░ working for the American ░░░░░░░░ federal workers who aren ░░░░░░░░ even showing up to ░░░░░░░░ yet getting paid over ░░░░░░░░ 000 a year while ░░░░░░░░ citizens have to show ░░░░░░░░ for their job These ░░░░░░░░ the disparities that people ░░░░░░░░ fed up with that ░░░░░░░░ finally being addressed 92 ░░░░░░░░ rep majority leader what ░░░░░░░░ you and I guess ░░░░░░░░ need a quick answer ░░░░░░░░ you re expecting help ░░░░░░░░ doge Are we talking ░░░░░░░░ a trillion there And ░░░░░░░░ it would be reflected ░░░░░░░░ what you do with ░░░░░░░░ and reconciliation Some of ░░░░░░░░ advice Elon Musk feels ░░░░░░░░ can get Yeah Elon ░░░░░░░░ he can get up ░░░░░░░░ 1 trillion which is ░░░░░░░░ than the trillion we ░░░░░░░░ working on and more ░░░░░░░░ we re looking at ░░░░░░░░ things beyond 1 trillion ░░░░░░░░ we re we re ░░░░░░░░ least there Well I ░░░░░░░░ t know It may ░░░░░░░░ be good for the ░░░░░░░░ for you to pile ░░░░░░░░ to everything that s ░░░░░░░░ happening Can you delay ░░░░░░░░ a
