HILL Does it actually ░░░░░░░░ to less productivity Does ░░░░░░░░ lead to issues in ░░░░░░░░ workplace to have a ░░░░░░░░ inclusive workforce CREARY Yeah ░░░░░░░░ thank you for having ░░░░░░░░ on And let me ░░░░░░░░ by saying that making ░░░░░░░░ changes as large scale ░░░░░░░░ this to DEI practices ░░░░░░░░ getting rid of staffers ░░░░░░░░ DEI leaders and DEI ░░░░░░░░ altogether it doesn t ░░░░░░░░ hurt black people women ░░░░░░░░ historically marginalized groups which ░░░░░░░░ what most people believe ░░░░░░░░ fact most people believe ░░░░░░░░ DEI practices are firmly ░░░░░░░░ who gets in the ░░░░░░░░ Most DEI practices by ░░░░░░░░ large are about what ░░░░░░░░ to people once they ░░░░░░░░ already in the door ░░░░░░░░ what are the implications ░░░░░░░░ for those of us ░░░░░░░░ have jobs And so ░░░░░░░░ me give you an ░░░░░░░░ because again most people ░░░░░░░░ t understand what DEI ░░░░░░░░ are and aren t ░░░░░░░░ on what is exactly ░░░░░░░░ when we are getting ░░░░░░░░ of them So most ░░░░░░░░ us are evaluated on ░░░░░░░░ regular basis for our ░░░░░░░░ and our direct supervisors ░░░░░░░░ managers are the people ░░░░░░░░ determine what our performance ░░░░░░░░ are But research and ░░░░░░░░ work with companies shows ░░░░░░░░ things First managers often ░░░░░░░░ on their gut instinct ░░░░░░░░ not universally agreed upon ░░░░░░░░ in order to assess ░░░░░░░░ And second no two ░░░░░░░░ often assess people using ░░░░░░░░ same criteria DEI practices ░░░░░░░░ holding managers and organizations ░░░░░░░░ for one using the ░░░░░░░░ criteria and two creating ░░░░░░░░ processes so that managers ░░░░░░░░ using the same scales ░░░░░░░░ the same way to ░░░░░░░░ performance So that s ░░░░░░░░ example of when we ░░░░░░░░ rid of DEI leaders ░░░░░░░░ employees and offices we ░░░░░░░░ rid of the accountability ░░░░░░░░ that are ensuring fairness ░░░░░░░░ all of us.”
