Stephen A. Smith Says Obama’s Friendly Chat with Trump ‘Wasn’t a Good Look’: ‘We Just Can’t Trust Them’

Smith Welcome back to ░░░░░░░░ Stephen A Smith Show ░░░░░░░░ I get on out ░░░░░░░░ here today I want ░░░░░░░░ take some time to ░░░░░░░░ into some politics and ░░░░░░░░ about what we saw ░░░░░░░░ week during the state ░░░░░░░░ for former President Jimmy ░░░░░░░░ There were five living ░░░░░░░░ in attendance to honor ░░░░░░░░ including presidents Barack Obama ░░░░░░░░ Donald Trump Here s ░░░░░░░░ Trump said in regards ░░░░░░░░ his apparent friendly exchange ░░░░░░░░ himself and former President ░░░░░░░░ Obama because you know ░░░░░░░░ saw them together sitting ░░░░░░░░ to one another yucking ░░░░░░░░ up smiling you know ░░░░░░░░ having a good time ░░░░░░░░ kind of thing And ░░░░░░░░ is what President Trump ░░░░░░░░ to say about that ░░░░░░░░ didn t realize how ░░░░░░░░ it looked And then ░░░░░░░░ watching the video he ░░░░░░░░ by saying Boy they ░░░░░░░░ like two people that ░░░░░░░░ each other And we ░░░░░░░░ do Now many have ░░░░░░░░ to criticize President Obama ░░░░░░░░ his interactions with President ░░░░░░░░ Charlamagne Tha God accused ░░░░░░░░ former President Obama of ░░░░░░░░ the ring and pointed ░░░░░░░░ that Obama once called ░░░░░░░░ a threat to democracy ░░░░░░░░ of course we heard ░░░░░░░░ Lemon going off about ░░░░░░░░ as well on his ░░░░░░░░ show over on X ░░░░░░░░ I remember correctly Here ░░░░░░░░ look was it a ░░░░░░░░ look for Barack Obama ░░░░░░░░ On its face no ░░░░░░░░ is the order of ░░░░░░░░ day These are two ░░░░░░░░ know one s the ░░░░░░░░ president one s the ░░░░░░░░ elect and so there ░░░░░░░░ a relationship to some ░░░░░░░░ that you know everybody ░░░░░░░░ have We get that ░░░░░░░░ understand that Some would ░░░░░░░░ Michelle Obama was more ░░░░░░░░ than anything because you ░░░░░░░░ she wasn t sitting ░░░░░░░░ to him Wasn t ░░░░░░░░ You know you look ░░░░░░░░ it from this perspective ░░░░░░░░ s my thing It ░░░░░░░░ t a good look ░░░░░░░░ it wasn t a ░░░░░░░░ look because of Trump ░░░░░░░░ wasn t a good ░░░░░░░░ because of all the ░░░░░░░░ that were said about ░░░░░░░░ during the campaign while ░░░░░░░░ were trying to convince ░░░░░░░░ of millions of people ░░░░░░░░ vote for Kamala Harris ░░░░░░░░ threat to democracy you ░░░░░░░░ people bringing up Nazis ░░░░░░░░ all of this stuff ░░░░░░░░ they talked about Trump ░░░░░░░░ maybe if you hadn ░░░░░░░░ said all of those ░░░░░░░░ people wouldn t be ░░░░░░░░ off like this See ░░░░░░░░ me I look at ░░░░░░░░ totally totally differently I ░░░░░░░░ at it from this ░░░░░░░░ Everything goes in politics ░░░░░░░░ understand that But in ░░░░░░░░ end it just shows ░░░░░░░░ we should be very ░░░░░░░░ in our thinking in ░░░░░░░░ of us and what ░░░░░░░░ in the best interest ░░░░░░░░ the country as opposed ░░░░░░░░ listening to what the ░░░░░░░░ these politicians say because ░░░░░░░░ just can t trust ░░░░░░░░ We just can t ░░░░░░░░ them The likelihood is ░░░░░░░░ Obama didn t mean ░░░░░░░░ the things that he ░░░░░░░░ to or flat out ░░░░░░░░ about Trump Maybe Hillary ░░░░░░░░ did Maybe Michelle Obama ░░░░░░░░ But Barack Obama himself ░░░░░░░░ not By the way ░░░░░░░░ we re being honest ░░░░░░░░ it they got a ░░░░░░░░ bit in common at ░░░░░░░░ when it comes to ░░░░░░░░ immigrants Obama deported more ░░░░░░░░ more back than Trump ░░░░░░░░ He just didn t ░░░░░░░░ it So when Trump ░░░░░░░░ about closing the borders ░░░░░░░░ not allowing over 14 ░░░░░░░░ legal immigrants into country ░░░░░░░░ stuff like that Obama ░░░░░░░░ didn t advertise it ░░░░░░░░ he damn sure did ░░░░░░░░ He made sure it ░░░░░░░░ t happen It was ░░░░░░░░ antithesis of what Joe ░░░░░░░░ did Joe Biden ordered ░░░░░░░░ open the borders and ░░░░░░░░ t give any kind ░░░░░░░░ explanation whatsoever Obama was ░░░░░░░░ the deporter in chief ░░░░░░░░ brother was not playing ░░░░░░░░ it came to illegal ░░░░░░░░ entering the country He ░░░░░░░░ them back and the ░░░░░░░░ that were here he ░░░░░░░░ a lot of them ░░░░░░░░ wasn t messing around ░░░░░░░░ wasn t mincing words ░░░░░░░░ wasn t playing games ░░░░░░░░ in that regard there ░░░░░░░░ some similarities You gotta ░░░░░░░░ least bring that up ░░░░░░░░ don t think it ░░░░░░░░ that big of a ░░░░░░░░ I think class and ░░░░░░░░ is the order of ░░░░░░░░ day especially at a ░░░░░░░░ let alone a funeral ░░░░░░░░ one of the former ░░░░░░░░ of the United States ░░░░░░░░ don t think that ░░░░░░░░ s a time for ░░░░░░░░ I don t think ░░░░░░░░ s a time for ░░░░░░░░ that s a time ░░░░░░░░ cantankerous or abrasive behavior ░░░░░░░░ anything I don t ░░░░░░░░ that that s not ░░░░░░░░ place It s not ░░░░░░░░ place I think that ░░░░░░░░ fair to say And ░░░░░░░░ has always been considered ░░░░░░░░ personified So it s ░░░░░░░░ that big of a ░░░░░░░░ But Charlamagne Tha God ░░░░░░░░ right when he says ░░░░░░░░ wasn t a good ░░░░░░░░ I don t know ░░░░░░░░ the kissing the ring ░░░░░░░░ I really don t ░░░░░░░░ Obama did his two ░░░░░░░░ he s living his ░░░░░░░░ and when he s ░░░░░░░░ upon by the Democratic ░░░░░░░░ to be supportive of ░░░░░░░░ it ain t phasing ░░░░░░░░ And oh by the ░░░░░░░░ he ll never be ░░░░░░░░ against Trump again because ░░░░░░░░ is not running for ░░░░░░░░ after these next four ░░░░░░░░ This is it I ░░░░░░░░ t think it s ░░░░░░░░ big of a deal ░░░░░░░░ just I just think ░░░░░░░░ in light of all ░░░░░░░░ was said about him ░░░░░░░░ up to the election ░░░░░░░░ d go as far ░░░░░░░░ to say it
