Kinzinger: Hearings Are Going to Be Brutal for Pete Hegseth

RUSH TRANSCRIPT He said ░░░░░░░░ Capitol Hill of the ░░░░░░░░ report he said the ░░░░░░░░ was fully investigated I ░░░░░░░░ completely cleared And that ░░░░░░░░ where I m going ░░░░░░░░ leave it again We ░░░░░░░░ note he wasn t ░░░░░░░░ He also wasn t ░░░░░░░░ But what is your ░░░░░░░░ Tell you about where ░░░░░░░░ will go with this ░░░░░░░░ I mean the vast ░░░░░░░░ of Republicans will do ░░░░░░░░ Donald Trump wants and ░░░░░░░░ wants it to be ░░░░░░░░ Hegseth now the question ░░░░░░░░ there s a few ░░░░░░░░ in the Senate particularly ░░░░░░░░ don t necessarily play ░░░░░░░░ game I think Mitch ░░░░░░░░ Bill Cassidy some others ░░░░░░░░ you know that may ░░░░░░░░ a real problem with ░░░░░░░░ Look he s going ░░░░░░░░ run obviously the most ░░░░░░░░ but one of the ░░░░░░░░ if actually the biggest ░░░░░░░░ bureaucracy that exists And ░░░░░░░░ know in charge of ░░░░░░░░ military members who we ░░░░░░░░ very seriously So I ░░░░░░░░ there s going to ░░░░░░░░ some some senators that ░░░░░░░░ kind of look at ░░░░░░░░ very critically And I ░░░░░░░░ say it s about ░░░░░░░░ 50 over 50 chance ░░░░░░░░ gets approved right now ░░░░░░░░ a little better than ░░░░░░░░ over 50 Just because ░░░░░░░░ is super into Donald ░░░░░░░░ So we ll see ░░░░░░░░ happens so so this ░░░░░░░░ you think to the ░░░░░░░░ process with the hearings ░░░░░░░░ you think it will ░░░░░░░░ like the like the ░░░░░░░░ Kavanaugh confirmation process You ░░░░░░░░ Republican senator Bill Hagerty ░░░░░░░░ brought up the Kavanaugh ░░░░░░░░ today Yeah I mean ░░░░░░░░ think it s going ░░░░░░░░ be like way more ░░░░░░░░ because if you think ░░░░░░░░ it again yes Hegseth ░░░░░░░░ not charged with that ░░░░░░░░ also wasn t exonerated ░░░░░░░░ you mentioned But the ░░░░░░░░ has had an issue ░░░░░░░░ sexual assault that they ░░░░░░░░ been trying to address ░░░░░░░░ a number of years ░░░░░░░░ now you re putting ░░░░░░░░ guy that s potentially ░░░░░░░░ of that in charge ░░░░░░░░ the Pentagon And so ░░░░░░░░ think that the hearings ░░░░░░░░ going to be pretty ░░░░░░░░ for him Um and ░░░░░░░░ know we ll see ░░░░░░░░ comes out of that ░░░░░░░░ keep in mind if ░░░░░░░░ was any other potential ░░░░░░░░ of Hegseth I m ░░░░░░░░ saying there are but ░░░░░░░░ there were they may ░░░░░░░░ out in the next ░░░░░░░░ of months And so ░░░░░░░░ could get this could ░░░░░░░░ pretty interesting again And ░░░░░░░░ should be looked at ░░░░░░░░ hard because again this ░░░░░░░░ the military we re ░░░░░░░░ about not some small ░░░░░░░░ bureaucracy but probably the ░░░░░░░░ government and certainly the ░░░░░░░░ lethal All right Adam ░░░░░░░░ great to see you.
