LENZ Good morning my ░░░░░░░░ is Edward Lenz I ░░░░░░░░ a patrol sergeant for ░░░░░░░░ Adams Township Police Department ░░░░░░░░ Butler County Pennsylvania and ░░░░░░░░ commander for the Butler ░░░░░░░░ Emergency Services Unit I ░░░░░░░░ the commander of the ░░░░░░░░ tactical units operating at ░░░░░░░░ Butler PA presidential rally ░░░░░░░░ July 13 Butler ESU ░░░░░░░░ initially requested to assist ░░░░░░░░ U S Secret Service ░░░░░░░░ the Butler rally by ░░░░░░░░ two counter assault teams ░░░░░░░░ a quick reaction force ░░░░░░░░ two sniper teams were ░░░░░░░░ to that request during ░░░░░░░░ planning process We were ░░░░░░░░ at the Butler rally ░░░░░░░░ the Beaver County Emergency ░░░░░░░░ Unit the Washington County ░░░░░░░░ SWAT team and pre ░░░░░░░░ staff from Allegheny Health ░░░░░░░░ Beaver ESU provided a ░░░░░░░░ armored vehicle with a ░░░░░░░░ assault team and two ░░░░░░░░ snipers Washington Regional SWAT ░░░░░░░░ four tactical operators and ░░░░░░░░ police snipers and Allegheny ░░░░░░░░ Network provided an EMS ░░░░░░░░ and a paramedic to ░░░░░░░░ the tactical EMS providers ░░░░░░░░ embedded with our teams ░░░░░░░░ the two counter assault ░░░░░░░░ the quick reaction force ░░░░░░░░ three sniper teams and ░░░░░░░░ personnel we provided a ░░░░░░░░ manpower of 44 persons ░░░░░░░░ the number requested by ░░░░░░░░ Secret Service At no ░░░░░░░░ during the planning process ░░░░░░░░ Butler County ESU asked ░░░░░░░░ secure the AGR complex ░░░░░░░░ the perimeter surrounding that ░░░░░░░░ At no point during ░░░░░░░░ planning process was Butler ░░░░░░░░ asked to deploy a ░░░░░░░░ team to the roof ░░░░░░░░ the AGR complex and ░░░░░░░░ no point in our ░░░░░░░░ plan did we ever ░░░░░░░░ that we would deploy ░░░░░░░░ sniper team to the ░░░░░░░░ of the AGR complex ░░░░░░░░ their positions inside the ░░░░░░░░ building the snipers were ░░░░░░░░ able to see the ░░░░░░░░ where the shooter was ░░░░░░░░ And again that was ░░░░░░░░ within their area of ░░░░░░░░
