WATERS When you talk ░░░░░░░░ appointments by presidents such ░░░░░░░░ appointments to the Supreme ░░░░░░░░ the community has to ░░░░░░░░ up First of all ░░░░░░░░ should be putting forth ░░░░░░░░ that we would like ░░░░░░░░ see appointed to the ░░░░░░░░ Court and we should ░░░░░░░░ behind them and we ░░░░░░░░ challenge presidents whether they ░░░░░░░░ you know Republicans or ░░░░░░░░ to talk about the ░░░░░░░░ of people that we ░░░░░░░░ We get on the ░░░░░░░░ we get on television ░░░░░░░░ March we organize you ░░░░░░░░ t leave it to ░░░░░░░░ to do the right ░░░░░░░░ These people are not ░░░░░░░░ to do the right ░░░░░░░░ They are going to ░░░░░░░░ what is in their ░░░░░░░░ interest and it s ░░░░░░░░ about voting organizing showing ░░░░░░░░ and working in order ░░░░░░░░ have influence on elected ░░░░░░░░ and these systems that ░░░░░░░░ everything that goes on ░░░░░░░░ our country That s ░░░░░░░░ one I I believe ░░░░░░░░ wanting to be an ░░░░░░░░ official is in the ░░░░░░░░ And I believe that ░░░░░░░░ who have the passion ░░░░░░░░ who believe that they ░░░░░░░░ make the change those ░░░░░░░░ believe that they can ░░░░░░░░ the system in some ░░░░░░░░ are your best candidates ░░░░░░░░ think if you have ░░░░░░░░ beg pull and and ░░░░░░░░ do everything to try ░░░░░░░░ get somebody to run ░░░░░░░░ may not be the ░░░░░░░░ person But I do ░░░░░░░░ that those of us ░░░░░░░░ are in office have ░░░░░░░░ demonstrate we stand for ░░░░░░░░ This will inspire young ░░░░░░░░ a lot more than ░░░░░░░░ it s all just ░░░░░░░░ bunch of people looking ░░░░░░░░ do good for themselves ░░░░░░░░ move up the ladder ░░░░░░░░ to have opportunities for ░░░░░░░░ We ve got to ░░░░░░░░ sure that we are ░░░░░░░░ truth to power that ░░░░░░░░ are standing up for ░░░░░░░░ people that they know ░░░░░░░░ we ve got their ░░░░░░░░ When we do that ░░░░░░░░ think more will be ░░░░░░░░ But as long as ░░░░░░░░ re trying to encourage ░░░░░░░░ them beg them what ░░░░░░░░ you it doesn t ░░░░░░░░ work When you identify ░░░░░░░░ people in the community ░░░░░░░░ are speaking up when ░░░░░░░░ identify some of these ░░░░░░░░ people in Black Lives ░░░░░░░░ who are saying what ░░░░░░░░ to be said then ░░░░░░░░ get them and say ░░░░░░░░ see what you were ░░░░░░░░ I see what you ░░░░░░░░ doing I think you ░░░░░░░░ going to make a ░░░░░░░░ elected official Let s ░░░░░░░░ with people who have ░░░░░░░░ passion and who want ░░░░░░░░ do it and who ░░░░░░░░ how important it is ░░░░░░░░ are plenty of them ░░░░░░░░ our communities but guess ░░░░░░░░ We don t associate ░░░░░░░░ them because we think ░░░░░░░░ are too controversial Black ░░░░░░░░ you better get controversial ░░░░░░░░ better be controversial Applause ░░░░░░░░ better call it like ░░░░░░░░ is We ve been ░░░░░░░░ down because others have ░░░░░░░░ this When they said ░░░░░░░░ us about 10 15 ░░░░░░░░ ago Oh she s ░░░░░░░░ the race card You ░░░░░░░░ say Yeah and I ░░░░░░░░ got a lot more ░░░░░░░░ m going to play ░░░░░░░░ Don t run away ░░░░░░░░ it And that s ░░░░░░░░ happened We stop calling ░░░░░░░░ racist a racist because ░░░░░░░░ said that that s ░░░░░░░░ you do You don ░░░░░░░░ do anything else Don ░░░░░░░░ let these people intimidate ░░░░░░░░ scare you You ve ░░░░░░░░ to get in the ░░░░░░░░ and you ve got ░░░░░░░░ be in the fight ░░░░░░░░ make some sacrifices to ░░░░░░░░ when you re winning ░░░░░░░░ continue to work to ░░░░░░░░ things happen And I ░░░░░░░░ to tell you it ░░░░░░░░ time to take off ░░░░░░░░ handcuffs It s time ░░░░░░░░ get in it It ░░░░░░░░ time to call it ░░░░░░░░ it is Don t ░░░░░░░░ here and tell me ░░░░░░░░ you keep on doing ░░░░░░░░ you do Maxine go ░░░░░░░░ on doing what you ░░░░░░░░ But when you go ░░░░░░░░ give me some support ░░░░░░░░
