Reid Okay what are ░░░░░░░░ doing about the monsters ░░░░░░░░ s the problem HOGG ░░░░░░░░ are we arming them ░░░░░░░░ Yeah HOGG That s ░░░░░░░░ question we should be ░░░░░░░░ right We talk all ░░░░░░░░ game all over and ░░░░░░░░ about mental health this ░░░░░░░░ health that I agree ░░░░░░░░ need to address mental ░░░░░░░░ But here s the ░░░░░░░░ a lot of these ░░░░░░░░ shooters we can t ░░░░░░░░ about the one today ░░░░░░░░ details are still coming ░░░░░░░░ but we know the ░░░░░░░░ in Parkland to the ░░░░░░░░ of my recollection had ░░░░░░░░ therapists Right We know ░░░░░░░░ people who are mentally ░░░░░░░░ are far more likely ░░░░░░░░ be a risk to ░░░░░░░░ than others and we ░░░░░░░░ t stigmatize mental illness ░░░░░░░░ the case of the ░░░░░░░░ shooter that specifically went ░░░░░░░░ that community to murder ░░░░░░░░ people or the El ░░░░░░░░ shooter and use that ░░░░░░░░ an excuse not to ░░░░░░░░ about what drives much ░░░░░░░░ the gun violence in ░░░░░░░░ country which is white ░░░░░░░░ period And it s ░░░░░░░░ white supremacy The shooter ░░░░░░░░ my high school he ░░░░░░░░ obviously mentally ill but ░░░░░░░░ also had a history ░░░░░░░░ making anti Semitic and ░░░░░░░░ comments over and over ░░░░░░░░ Hatred is not a ░░░░░░░░ illness And we need ░░░░░░░░ realize we need more ░░░░░░░░ health obviously in our ░░░░░░░░ but we shouldn t ░░░░░░░░ that stop us from ░░░░░░░░ the fact that we ░░░░░░░░ t just address why ░░░░░░░░ somebody want to kill ░░░░░░░░ else We have to ░░░░░░░░ the fact that in ░░░░░░░░ other country in the ░░░░░░░░ is it as easy ░░░░░░░░ a deranged person to ░░░░░░░░ a gun like it ░░░░░░░░ in the United States ░░░░░░░░ It s not Reid ░░░░░░░░ there are people with ░░░░░░░░ health issues in every ░░░░░░░░ in the world There ░░░░░░░░ people playing video games ░░░░░░░░ every country in the ░░░░░░░░ People have stress and ░░░░░░░░ and all the isms ░░░░░░░░ in the world It ░░░░░░░░ only here that kids ░░░░░░░░ t go to school ░░░░░░░░ knowing how to hide ░░░░░░░░ a mass shooter and ░░░░░░░░ to risk dying in ░░░░░░░░ fourth grade third grade ░░░░░░░░ school It s insane ░░░░░░░░ a college campus It ░░░░░░░░ only here y all ░░░░░░░░ a certain point it ░░░░░░░░ the guns David Hogg ░░░░░░░░ you so much We ░░░░░░░░ appreciate you being willing ░░░░░░░░ come in and talk ░░░░░░░░ this awful subject Thank ░░░░░░░░ for all the work ░░░░░░░░ you’re doing.”
