Kamala Harris to Georgia High Schoolers: ‘Welcome to the Role Model Club’

Harris So you know ░░░░░░░░ ve been hearing about ░░░░░░░░ incredible young leaders for ░░░░░░░░ some time from the ░░░░░░░░ to those who are ░░░░░░░░ joy to everybody in ░░░░░░░░ stands to the music ░░░░░░░░ you guys are creating ░░░░░░░░ so we wanted to ░░░░░░░░ by just to let ░░░░░░░░ know that our country ░░░░░░░░ counting on you All ░░░░░░░░ you You are leaders ░░░░░░░░ the very fact that ░░░░░░░░ all are here in ░░░░░░░░ room doing what you ░░░░░░░░ at this incredible school ░░░░░░░░ it as one big ░░░░░░░░ understanding all of the ░░░░░░░░ parts that fit together ░░░░░░░░ create a team You ░░░░░░░░ doing some of the ░░░░░░░░ work any of you ░░░░░░░░ do and we re ░░░░░░░░ proud of you And ░░░░░░░░ re counting on you ░░░░░░░░ generation all that you ░░░░░░░░ stand for everything you ░░░░░░░░ at stake is what ░░░░░░░░ going to propel our ░░░░░░░░ into the next era ░░░░░░░░ what we can do ░░░░░░░░ And I want to ░░░░░░░░ to you that you ░░░░░░░░ always lead as you ░░░░░░░░ chosen to lead understand ░░░░░░░░ don t have to ░░░░░░░░ anybody for permission and ░░░░░░░░ think you all have ░░░░░░░░ that out you ve ░░░░░░░░ to be a leader ░░░░░░░░ in doing that you ░░░░░░░░ also role models right ░░░░░░░░ to the role model ░░░░░░░░ And being a role ░░░░░░░░ right means that there ░░░░░░░░ members of your family ░░░░░░░░ who live in your ░░░░░░░░ your classmates who watch ░░░░░░░░ and see oh that ░░░░░░░░ how it s done ░░░░░░░░ in that way you ░░░░░░░░ showing what hard work ░░░░░░░░ achieve what discipline can ░░░░░░░░ what teamwork can do ░░░░░░░░ that s the stuff ░░░░░░░░ great leadership All of ░░░░░░░░ And so we wanted ░░░░░░░░ come by to remind ░░░░░░░░ that our nation is ░░░░░░░░ on you We re ░░░░░░░░ proud of you everything ░░░░░░░░ ve achieved.”
