UNKNOWN A lot of ░░░░░░░░ about education and where ░░░░░░░░ is headed in education ░░░░░░░░ kind of mirrors I ░░░░░░░░ what s happening nationally ░░░░░░░░ a lot of that ░░░░░░░░ isn t it doesn ░░░░░░░░ take a brain surgeon ░░░░░░░░ figure out it s ░░░░░░░░ post Covid But one ░░░░░░░░ the arguments that your ░░░░░░░░ is making is the ░░░░░░░░ that you were so ░░░░░░░░ on Covid that those ░░░░░░░░ scores went further down ░░░░░░░░ they had to WALZ ░░░░░░░░ Do they talk about ░░░░░░░░ 14 600 people who ░░░░░░░░ during Covid Do they ░░░░░░░░ about you know the ░░░░░░░░ had to be made ░░░░░░░░ in March 2020 Look ░░░░░░░░ had work to do ░░░░░░░░ Covid happened It is ░░░░░░░░ the country We invested ░░░░░░░░ making sure that that ░░░░░░░░ were there for some ░░░░░░░░ the catch up work ░░░░░░░░ all that But the ░░░░░░░░ of the matter is ░░░░░░░░ ahead and look at ░░░░░░░░ you know the national ░░░░░░░░ Look at the deaths ░░░░░░░░ 100 000 for every ░░░░░░░░ in the upper Midwest ░░░░░░░░ we are clearly the ░░░░░░░░ So I made a ░░░░░░░░ that made sure we ░░░░░░░░ to protect lives on ░░░░░░░░ best information we had ░░░░░░░░ terms of rolling back ░░░░░░░░ of the Covid restrictions ░░░░░░░░ probably fell right in ░░░░░░░░ middle of the 50 ░░░░░░░░ pretty quick to have ░░░░░░░░ things come off getting ░░░░░░░░ to recover UNKNOWN When ░░░░░░░░ look at this next ░░░░░░░░ that everybody seems to ░░░░░░░░ saying is just so ░░░░░░░░ behind and so I ░░░░░░░░ I don t see ░░░░░░░░ WALZ I don t ░░░░░░░░ it UNKNOWN And I ░░░░░░░░ t know that at ░░░░░░░░ end you had to ░░░░░░░░ it WALZ I don ░░░░░░░░ buy it UNKNOWN But ░░░░░░░░ the next generation of ░░░░░░░░ looks pretty bright to ░░░░░░░░ WALZ Look standardized testing ░░░░░░░░ but just keep in ░░░░░░░░ 40 percent fewer of ░░░░░░░░ students a very few ░░░░░░░░ took these tests in ░░░░░░░░ first place because you ░░░░░░░░ opt out of them ░░░░░░░░ no one takes the ░░░░░░░░ anymore I m not ░░░░░░░░ standardized testing but as ░░░░░░░░ teacher these kids learned ░░░░░░░░ These kids learned compassion ░░░░░░░░ one another These kids ░░░░░░░░ problem solving They had ░░░░░░░░ figure out how to ░░░░░░░░ online and do this ░░░░░░░░ m working with my ░░░░░░░░ who s a 7th ░░░░░░░░ and 9th grader during ░░░░░░░░ this I m really ░░░░░░░░ of what he s ░░░░░░░░ able to do and ░░░░░░░░ know this has been ░░░░░░░░ challenging So the idea ░░░░░░░░ grading it on this ░░░░░░░░ test again there s ░░░░░░░░ very different opinion about ░░░░░░░░
