VP Harris Meets with Sandy Hook Shooting Survivors

UNKNOWN 1 This is ░░░░░░░░ happened at Sandy Hook ░░░░░░░░ know people have tried ░░░░░░░░ failed for the past ░░░░░░░░ years to try to ░░░░░░░░ what happened so that ░░░░░░░░ what I want to ░░░░░░░░ UNKNOWN 2 I have ░░░░░░░░ power to like share ░░░░░░░░ story and to like ░░░░░░░░ want to make an ░░░░░░░░ on all these communities ░░░░░░░░ fight for others that ░░░░░░░░ t Harris I wanted ░░░░░░░░ talk with you guys ░░░░░░░░ what you ve been ░░░░░░░░ because we want to ░░░░░░░░ make sure no kid ░░░░░░░░ through that again UNKNOWN ░░░░░░░░ We were on the ░░░░░░░░ doing our newsletters for ░░░░░░░░ parents for the weekend ░░░░░░░░ tell them what we ░░░░░░░░ that week UNKNOWN 4 ░░░░░░░░ were building gingerbread houses ░░░░░░░░ loudspeaker comes on and ░░░░░░░░ hear a couple of ░░░░░░░░ bangs and they move ░░░░░░░░ into the cubbies UNKNOWN ░░░░░░░░ I just like remember ░░░░░░░░ coming into my classroom ░░░░░░░░ next to me and ░░░░░░░░ I watched him you ░░░░░░░░ shoot all my classmates ░░░░░░░░ teacher my friends And ░░░░░░░░ he was gonna shoot ░░░░░░░░ but someone who did ░░░░░░░░ make it that day ░░░░░░░░ for some of us ░░░░░░░░ run so we did ░░░░░░░░ ran past him and ░░░░░░░░ bumped into him on ░░░░░░░░ way out UNKNOWN 6 ░░░░░░░░ don t know how ░░░░░░░░ time had passed in ░░░░░░░░ I m six So ░░░░░░░░ re hiding in there ░░░░░░░░ a while Our teacher ░░░░░░░░ us some Christmas stories ░░░░░░░░ we got let out ░░░░░░░░ a policeman and there ░░░░░░░░ a SWAT team lined ░░░░░░░░ UNKNOWN 4 They had ░░░░░░░░ cover our eyes like ░░░░░░░░ and walk out UNKNOWN ░░░░░░░░ And I remember being ░░░░░░░░ line and having another ░░░░░░░░ in my class behind ░░░░░░░░ and his dad came ░░░░░░░░ to him asking where ░░░░░░░░ Chase we ll take ░░░░░░░░ home And he never ░░░░░░░░ it out And that ░░░░░░░░ also one of those ░░░░░░░░ that really stuck with ░░░░░░░░ UNKNOWN 8 You know ░░░░░░░░ next day they took ░░░░░░░░ on a walk and ░░░░░░░░ said you re never ░░░░░░░░ to see some of ░░░░░░░░ friends again UNKNOWN 7 ░░░░░░░░ think my parents sat ░░░░░░░░ down in front of ░░░░░░░░ yearbook and basically pointed ░░░░░░░░ my friends who had ░░░░░░░░ Harris None of you ░░░░░░░░ have had the experience ░░░░░░░░ you ve had at ░░░░░░░░ Whenever you feel like ░░░░░░░░ your story know that ░░░░░░░░ guys are moving the ░░░░░░░░ But I purposefully say ░░░░░░░░ you feel like it ░░░░░░░░ don t know anybody ░░░░░░░░ You ve been through ░░░░░░░░ each of you Okay ░░░░░░░░ when you feel like ░░░░░░░░ know that you are ░░░░░░░░ a difference UNKNOWN 7 ░░░░░░░░ want to become a ░░░░░░░░ because that s something ░░░░░░░░ s really been impactful ░░░░░░░░ me So I want ░░░░░░░░ give back Harris That ░░░░░░░░ really wonderful I m ░░░░░░░░ happy to hear that ░░░░░░░░ 5 I want to ░░░░░░░░ be a lawyer or ░░░░░░░░ politician something like that ░░░░░░░░ You can do both ░░░░░░░░ 5 Do both Harris ░░░░░░░░ this students is called ░░░░░░░░ challenge coin And I ░░░░░░░░ give this to members ░░░░░░░░ the military to thank ░░░░░░░░ for their courage For ░░░░░░░░ courage There you go ░░░░░░░░ Thank you.”
