Vivek Ramaswamy: We Have To Shut Down the Shadow Government

Ramaswamy We re going ░░░░░░░░ win this country back ░░░░░░░░ reviving who we are ░░░░░░░░ what we actually stand ░░░░░░░░ by answering what does ░░░░░░░░ mean to be a ░░░░░░░░ in the year 2024 ░░░░░░░░ does it mean to ░░░░░░░░ an American in the ░░░░░░░░ 2024 And to me ░░░░░░░░ means we believe in ░░░░░░░░ ideals of 1776 the ░░░░░░░░ that our Founding Fathers ░░░░░░░░ into motion 250 years ░░░░░░░░ Irrespective of what the ░░░░░░░░ side puts up today ░░░░░░░░ re not going to ░░░░░░░░ reactionaries defining ourselves in ░░░░░░░░ to what the other ░░░░░░░░ puts up We re ░░░░░░░░ to define ourselves based ░░░░░░░░ the ideals this country ░░░░░░░░ founded on ideals like ░░░░░░░░ speech that you get ░░░░░░░░ speak your mind openly ░░░░░░░░ long as I get ░░░░░░░░ in return ideals like ░░░░░░░░ that you do get ░░░░░░░░ in this country not ░░░░░░░░ the color of your ░░░░░░░░ but on the content ░░░░░░░░ your character and your ░░░░░░░░ that we the people ░░░░░░░░ a government that is ░░░░░░░░ to us not the ░░░░░░░░ way around that the ░░░░░░░░ who we elect to ░░░░░░░░ the government ought to ░░░░░░░░ the ones who actually ░░░░░░░░ the government not a ░░░░░░░░ government sitting in the ░░░░░░░░ state that runs the ░░░░░░░░ today Applause You see ░░░░░░░░ are not black ideas ░░░░░░░░ white ideas they re ░░░░░░░░ Democrat ideas or Republican ░░░░░░░░ They are American ideals ░░░░░░░░ we fought a revolution ░░░░░░░░ this country to secure ░░░░░░░░ years ago And I ░░░░░░░░ those ideals still exist ░░░░░░░░ is going to be ░░░░░░░░ job to actually revive ░░░░░░░░ We re talking about ░░░░░░░░ future direction of policy ░░░░░░░░ this country It s ░░░░░░░░ of the reasons I ░░░░░░░░ the work of the ░░░░░░░░ Foundation and the people ░░░░░░░░ have done the hard ░░░░░░░░ of laying out the ░░░░░░░░ for regardless of who ░░░░░░░░ going to sit in ░░░░░░░░ seat What s the ░░░░░░░░ vision we re actually ░░░░░░░░ to drive forward And ░░░░░░░░ you ask me there ░░░░░░░░ a lot of policy ░░░░░░░░ items that matter to ░░░░░░░░ future of the country ░░░░░░░░ we can rank order ░░░░░░░░ But the top of ░░░░░░░░ list and if we ░░░░░░░░ being honest I think ░░░░░░░░ is a bit of ░░░░░░░░ fork in the road ░░░░░░░░ in our own party ░░░░░░░░ in our own conservative ░░░░░░░░ among friends and allies ░░░░░░░░ we have to acknowledge ░░░░░░░░ risk nonetheless we re ░░░░░░░░ to be at our ░░░░░░░░ if we actually acknowledge ░░░░░░░░ our priorities are Is ░░░░░░░░ priority to co opt ░░░░░░░░ use the administrative state ░░░░░░░░ the nanny state to ░░░░░░░░ our own ends or ░░░░░░░░ our goal actually to ░░░░░░░░ the nanny state and ░░░░░░░░ regulatory state altogether Applause ░░░░░░░░ s the fork in ░░░░░░░░ road ahead for our ░░░░░░░░ And I believe that ░░░░░░░░ re not going to ░░░░░░░░ this through incrementalism We ░░░░░░░░ not going to solve ░░░░░░░░ through reforming the administrative ░░░░░░░░ through reshaping and redirecting ░░░░░░░░ No I think the ░░░░░░░░ right answer left is ░░░░░░░░ that fourth Branch of ░░░░░░░░ for that shadow government ░░░░░░░░ s really pulling the ░░░░░░░░ today the only answer ░░░░░░░░ remains is we have ░░░░░░░░ be willing to get ░░░░░░░░ there and actually shut ░░░░░░░░ down That is how ░░░░░░░░ revive the United States ░░░░░░░░ America.” (Applause)
