[Clip starts Biden Graduates ░░░░░░░░ is what we are ░░░░░░░░ against extremist forces they ░░░░░░░░ lying against the meaning ░░░░░░░░ message in Morehouse They ░░░░░░░░ a fiction a caricature ░░░░░░░░ wqhat being a man ░░░░░░░░ about Tough talk Abusing ░░░░░░░░ Bigotry Their idea of ░░░░░░░░ a man is toxic ░░░░░░░░ ends NAWAZ Here now ░░░░░░░░ how former President Trump ░░░░░░░░ a crowd in The ░░░░░░░░ last night Clip starts ░░░░░░░░ These millions and millions ░░░░░░░░ millions of people that ░░░░░░░░ coming into our country ░░░░░░░░ biggest impact and the ░░░░░░░░ negative impact is against ░░░░░░░░ black population and our ░░░░░░░░ population who are losing ░░░░░░░░ jobs losing their housing ░░░░░░░░ everything they can lose ░░░░░░░░ ends NAWAZ Jonathan those ░░░░░░░░ two very different kinds ░░░░░░░░ messages yet Mr Trump ░░░░░░░░ made inroads with some ░░░░░░░░ these voters of color ░░░░░░░░ do you think that ░░░░░░░░ CAPEHART Okay buckle up ░░░░░░░░ This inroads this notion ░░░░░░░░ Trump has made inroads ░░░░░░░░ a result of a ░░░░░░░░ York Times Siena poll ░░░░░░░░ came out in February ░░░░░░░░ shockingly it said that ░░░░░░░░ was getting 23 percent ░░░░░░░░ black support Now when ░░░░░░░░ when I was confronted ░░░░░░░░ this I was like ░░░░░░░░ you even know the ░░░░░░░░ size Sample size Because ░░░░░░░░ don t believe that ░░░░░░░░ you ask any black ░░░░░░░░ and they re like ░░░░░░░░ I s not there ░░░░░░░░ sample size on that ░░░░░░░░ was 119 respondents for ░░░░░░░░ national poll NAWAZ You ░░░░░░░░ it s a false ░░░░░░░░ CAPEHART I think it ░░░░░░░░ a false narrative We ░░░░░░░░ through this every four ░░░░░░░░ will black voters show ░░░░░░░░ Oh the support is ░░░░░░░░ Oh my God It ░░░░░░░░ like to lots of ░░░░░░░░ that these narratives are ░░░░░░░░ so that if the ░░░░░░░░ loses no matter what ░░░░░░░░ oh well the African ░░░░░░░░ didn t show up ░░░░░░░░ it s their fault ░░░░░░░░ with the president s ░░░░░░░░ yes he made the ░░░░░░░░ argument about democracy and ░░░░░░░░ and everything but he ░░░░░░░░ talked specifics 16 billion ░░░░░░░░ in HBCUs cutting black ░░░░░░░░ poverty What got the ░░░░░░░░ applause line was student ░░░░░░░░ relief I mean he ░░░░░░░░ combining an economic message ░░░░░░░░ the moral message and ░░░░░░░░ who his audience is ░░░░░░░░ Donald Trump this is ░░░░░░░░ about getting black voters ░░░░░░░░ vote for him This ░░░░░░░░ not about getting Latino ░░░░░░░░ to vote for him ░░░░░░░░ there were quite a ░░░░░░░░ Hispanic Americans there at ░░░░░░░░ rally in The Bronx ░░░░░░░░ In The Bronx last ░░░░░░░░ yeah CAPEHART But this ░░░░░░░░ t about courting them ░░░░░░░░ is about a permission ░░░░░░░░ for white voters on ░░░░░░░░ periphery who look and ░░░░░░░░ language like that and ░░░░░░░░ I don t like ░░░░░░░░ I don t like ░░░░░░░░ I don t like ░░░░░░░░ way that sounds But ░░░░░░░░ he s in the ░░░░░░░░ Bronx talking to those ░░░░░░░░ Maybe he s not ░░░░░░░░ bad.’ That’s outrageous.”
