EISEN One thing that ░░░░░░░░ helped the dynamic is ░░░░░░░░ U S is coming ░░░░░░░░ a strong hand right ░░░░░░░░ on our economy Yellen ░░░░░░░░ think we can feel ░░░░░░░░ about our economy There ░░░░░░░░ crosstalk EISEN I was ░░░░░░░░ to ask you what ░░░░░░░░ made of this last ░░░░░░░░ report Yellen Well it ░░░░░░░░ shows that U S ░░░░░░░░ firing on all cylinders ░░░░░░░░ mean in terms of ░░░░░░░░ term performance inflation is ░░░░░░░░ down The job market ░░░░░░░░ very strong Growth has ░░░░░░░░ been a lot stronger ░░░░░░░░ I would have expected ░░░░░░░░ this at this stage ░░░░░░░░ had 3 1 percent ░░░░░░░░ last year Inflation is ░░░░░░░░ down Labor supply is ░░░░░░░░ and we re seeing ░░░░░░░░ of the pressures we ░░░░░░░░ worry about coming from ░░░░░░░░ labor market impacting inflation ░░░░░░░░ re subsiding but unemployment ░░░░░░░░ very low EISEN You ░░░░░░░░ still confident we can ░░░░░░░░ to 2 percent this ░░░░░░░░ We ve seen a ░░░░░░░░ bit of a flare ░░░░░░░░ so far this year ░░░░░░░░ Well I think it ░░░░░░░░ continue to come down ░░░░░░░░ time that s my ░░░░░░░░ And you know I ░░░░░░░░ hopeful that we we ░░░░░░░░ certainly get into the ░░░░░░░░ EISEN And recovery stays ░░░░░░░░ with or without Fed ░░░░░░░░ cuts Yellen So I ░░░░░░░░ not going to make ░░░░░░░░ forecast on Fed rate ░░░░░░░░ the Fed has indicated ░░░░░░░░ they want to make ░░░░░░░░ that inflation is really ░░░░░░░░ down and that they ░░░░░░░░ obviously considering rate cuts ░░░░░░░░ would be appropriate when ░░░░░░░░ reach that judgment And ░░░░░░░░ ve had generally good ░░░░░░░░ on inflation You know ░░░░░░░░ s look at the ░░░░░░░░ I believe inflation will ░░░░░░░░ to come down EISEN ░░░░░░░░ And I guess I ░░░░░░░░ just wondering if the ░░░░░░░░ continues to hold up ░░░░░░░░ matter what happens on ░░░░░░░░ Fed Yellen I think ░░░░░░░░ ve got a good ░░░░░░░░ economy We ve good ░░░░░░░░ strong domestic demand Consumers ░░░░░░░░ holding up some low ░░░░░░░░ consumers are perhaps exhausting ░░░░░░░░ buffers of savings that ░░░░░░░░ built up during the ░░░░░░░░ We re seeing a ░░░░░░░░ bit more distress at ░░░░░░░░ household level there But ░░░░░░░░ households are in very ░░░░░░░░ financial shape Our financial ░░░░░░░░ is generally quite strong ░░░░░░░░ don t things can ░░░░░░░░ happen There s always ░░░░░░░░ risk Geopolitical developments could ░░░░░░░░ risk to our economy ░░░░░░░░ I think we ve ░░░░░░░░ a good strong economy ░░░░░░░░ s on a solid ░░░░░░░░
