REPORTER Different topic President ░░░░░░░░ is asking Congress to ░░░░░░░░ the national endowment for ░░░░░░░░ arts Do you personally ░░░░░░░░ eliminating that PELOSI No ░░░░░░░░ don t I think ░░░░░░░░ s foolish foolish proposal ░░░░░░░░ the part of the ░░░░░░░░ Let me just say ░░░░░░░░ about the arts I ░░░░░░░░ that one of the ░░░░░░░░ for unity in our ░░░░░░░░ are the arts It ░░░░░░░░ something that brings us ░░░░░░░░ We laugh together we ░░░░░░░░ together we re inspired ░░░░░░░░ we listen to the ░░░░░░░░ It s a cultural ░░░░░░░░ for our country The ░░░░░░░░ that we spend on ░░░░░░░░ national endowment is so ░░░░░░░░ compared to our national ░░░░░░░░ It s like a ░░░░░░░░ on my head It ░░░░░░░░ very small And it ░░░░░░░░ but it is a ░░░░░░░░ good investment And I ░░░░░░░░ just think it s ░░░░░░░░ in terms of supporting ░░░░░░░░ arts yes and arts ░░░░░░░░ the school Any place ░░░░░░░░ go in the country ░░░░░░░░ in some of our ░░░░░░░░ areas the parents will ░░░░░░░░ keep the arts in ░░░░░░░░ school That s what ░░░░░░░░ our children confidence They ░░░░░░░░ it They learn what ░░░░░░░░ can achieve They have ░░░░░░░░ it enables them to ░░░░░░░░ confident when they go ░░░░░░░░ other other studies So ░░░░░░░░ it is for the ░░░░░░░░ esteem and the fulfillment ░░░░░░░░ our children the unity ░░░░░░░░ our country arts are ░░░░░░░░ important I think that ░░░░░░░░ s I don t ░░░░░░░░ it will stand We ░░░░░░░░ fight that Yeah And ░░░░░░░░ s about jobs People ░░░░░░░░ t ever think of ░░░░░░░░ but arts are an ░░░░░░░░ developer Many many jobs ░░░░░░░░ created by investments in ░░░░░░░░ art And they it ░░░░░░░░ other investment as well ░░░░░░░░ say that coming from ░░░░░░░░ Francisco proud city of ░░░░░░░░ arts But the whole ░░░░░░░░ and as I say ░░░░░░░░ the whole country arts ░░░░░░░░ the schools arts in ░░░░░░░░ communities it s a ░░░░░░░░ unifying force People when ░░░░░░░░ go to a concert ░░░░░░░░ s not about Democrats ░░░░░░░░ Republicans When you go ░░░░░░░░ a museum it s ░░░░░░░░ what you re going ░░░░░░░░ see a play whether ░░░░░░░░ are in one And ░░░░░░░░ for our kids to ░░░░░░░░ part of the arts ░░░░░░░░ be part of the ░░░░░░░░ club a band a ░░░░░░░░ group it s a ░░░░░░░░ positive thing They want ░░░░░░░░ join something especially in ░░░░░░░░ school and high school ░░░░░░░░ the rest And it ░░░░░░░░ a force for good ░░░░░░░░ poet Shelly once said ░░░░░░░░ greatest course for moral ░░░░░░░░ is imagination Imagination of ░░░░░░░░ to be creative but ░░░░░░░░ to put yourself in ░░░░░░░░ people s shoes to ░░░░░░░░ experiences I think we ░░░░░░░░ view the arts in ░░░░░░░░ way.”
