RUSH TRANSCRIPT The New ░░░░░░░░ City mayor Eric Adams ░░░░░░░░ was asked about this ░░░░░░░░ a radio show I ░░░░░░░░ to play what he ░░░░░░░░ to say We need ░░░░░░░░ make sure that judges ░░░░░░░░ over the seriousness of ░░░░░░░░ case And I don ░░░░░░░░ believe they should have ░░░░░░░░ released I do want ░░░░░░░░ make one point The ░░░░░░░░ number of immigrants migrants ░░░░░░░░ seekers they want to ░░░░░░░░ here and do what ░░░░░░░░ right Those violent ones ░░░░░░░░ need to immediately have ░░░░░░░░ removed from our city ░░░░░░░░ are so many people ░░░░░░░░ making this about solely ░░░░░░░░ the migrants But is ░░░░░░░░ really fair when it ░░░░░░░░ like whether they were ░░░░░░░░ or not we might ░░░░░░░░ facing this very same ░░░░░░░░ with anyone It could ░░░░░░░░ But before the way ░░░░░░░░ laws were cited and ░░░░░░░░ way they were done ░░░░░░░░ individual had to be ░░░░░░░░ identified We looked and ░░░░░░░░ whether they have ties ░░░░░░░░ the community This could ░░░░░░░░ to anybody The fact ░░░░░░░░ migrants were so easily ░░░░░░░░ escape and just released ░░░░░░░░ do we identify these ░░░░░░░░ Obviously when they attempt ░░░░░░░░ escape again they use ░░░░░░░░ false name This is ░░░░░░░░ normal behavior for individuals ░░░░░░░░ are not into criminal ░░░░░░░░ And we ve seen ░░░░░░░░ by some of the ░░░░░░░░ arrests some of them ░░░░░░░░ had Does that have ░░░░░░░░ do with whether or ░░░░░░░░ they re migrants Obviously ░░░░░░░░ number of migrants in ░░░░░░░░ city is an issue ░░░░░░░░ all those things you ░░░░░░░░ could have been done ░░░░░░░░ American citizens We can ░░░░░░░░ make this a migrant ░░░░░░░░ The situation is the ░░░░░░░░ they re living things ░░░░░░░░ t perfect And sometimes ░░░░░░░░ do turn to criminal ░░░░░░░░ But as a criminal ░░░░░░░░ system we have to ░░░░░░░░ at gang assault and ░░░░░░░░ severity of these crimes ░░░░░░░░ just can t say ░░░░░░░░ should be released It ░░░░░░░░ a fair point That ░░░░░░░░ the question I think ░░░░░░░░ many New Yorkers are ░░░░░░░░ today.
