BRZEZINSKI Liz Cheney joins ░░░░░░░░ now She is a ░░░░░░░░ of practice at the ░░░░░░░░ of Virginia s Center ░░░░░░░░ Politics and author of ░░░░░░░░ new book out today ░░░░░░░░ Oath and Honor A ░░░░░░░░ and a Warning Thank ░░░░░░░░ very much for coming ░░░░░░░░ the show this morning ░░░░░░░░ talk about this book ░░░░░░░░ Thanks for having me ░░░░░░░░ BRZEZINSKI We all watched ░░░░░░░░ were impressed and aghast ░░░░░░░░ your work during the ░░░░░░░░ 6th Committee hearings Just ░░░░░░░░ name a few things ░░░░░░░░ ve been talking this ░░░░░░░░ about the latest issue ░░░░░░░░ The Atlantic which is ░░░░░░░░ deep dive into a ░░░░░░░░ at the dangers of ░░░░░░░░ second Trump presidency And ░░░░░░░░ look at Trump s ░░░░░░░░ words even now We ░░░░░░░░ go on for four ░░░░░░░░ and still have not ░░░░░░░░ time to talk about ░░░░░░░░ things he says he ░░░░░░░░ do the things he ░░░░░░░░ said he would do ░░░░░░░░ has done So my ░░░░░░░░ question to you with ░░░░░░░░ much insight into this ░░░░░░░░ the Republican Party and ░░░░░░░░ is happening to it ░░░░░░░░ do you think he ░░░░░░░░ still very much the ░░░░░░░░ runner for the Republican ░░░░░░░░ and how much do ░░░░░░░░ Republicans you have for ░░░░░░░░ concern you about the ░░░░░░░░ Cheney Well first of ░░░░░░░░ thank you for having ░░░░░░░░ on and thanks to ░░░░░░░░ guys and to everybody ░░░░░░░░ for the coverage that ░░░░░░░░ ve been giving this ░░░░░░░░ now for so many ░░░░░░░░ It really is important ░░░░░░░░ very much appreciated You ░░░░░░░░ put your finger on ░░░░░░░░ I think is you ░░░░░░░░ one of and maybe ░░░░░░░░ most important question politically ░░░░░░░░ that we face at ░░░░░░░░ moment I think there ░░░░░░░░ a combination of things ░░░░░░░░ on I think first ░░░░░░░░ all there are millions ░░░░░░░░ people around the country ░░░░░░░░ feel like they aren ░░░░░░░░ heard by the government ░░░░░░░░ have felt like they ░░░░░░░░ t have a voice ░░░░░░░░ Donald Trump has managed ░░░░░░░░ convince them dishonestly that ░░░░░░░░ could be their voice ░░░░░░░░ I think that reflects ░░░░░░░░ certain percentage of the ░░░░░░░░ Party It s not ░░░░░░░░ huge percentage Certainly the ░░░░░░░░ in Congress who actually ░░░░░░░░ what he is saying ░░░░░░░░ very very small but ░░░░░░░░ s enabled and appeased ░░░░░░░░ collaborated with people who ░░░░░░░░ better in leadership in ░░░░░░░░ Republican Party today That ░░░░░░░░ partly what makes him ░░░░░░░░ dangerous is people have ░░░░░░░░ willing to look the ░░░░░░░░ way and go along ░░░░░░░░ when they know that ░░░░░░░░ wrong BRZEZINSKI You know ░░░░░░░░ once was they d ░░░░░░░░ the other way because ░░░░░░░░ don t want to ░░░░░░░░ the base they don ░░░░░░░░ want to lose their ░░░░░░░░ in Congress But you ░░░░░░░░ that you know even ░░░░░░░░ the Trump impeachment time ░░░░░░░░ some members maybe even ░░░░░░░░ were scared for their ░░░░░░░░ if they voted for ░░░░░░░░
