KENDI I don t ░░░░░░░░ white people worldwide have ░░░░░░░░ reckoned with how much ░░░░░░░░ own personal identity is ░░░░░░░░ by constructions of whiteness ░░░░░░░░ how much that construction ░░░░░░░░ whiteness prevents white people ░░░░░░░░ connecting to humanity In ░░░░░░░░ words recognizing that when ░░░░░░░░ when you recognize that ░░░░░░░░ are part and parcel ░░░░░░░░ humanity in other words ░░░░░░░░ re not over humanity ░░░░░░░░ It allows you to ░░░░░░░░ be able to connect ░░░░░░░░ people who don t ░░░░░░░░ like you who have ░░░░░░░░ hair who have dark ░░░░░░░░ and to see yourself ░░░░░░░░ them And it s ░░░░░░░░ that prevents that right ░░░░░░░░ when you re not ░░░░░░░░ to see yourself in ░░░░░░░░ human beings that creates ░░░░░░░░ sorts of problems but ░░░░░░░░ just societal problems personal ░░░░░░░░ that I think hopefully ░░░░░░░░ film and this work ░░░░░░░░ liberate those folks from ░░░░░░░░ I think it s ░░░░░░░░ liberate it s liberating ░░░░░░░░ the way around right ░░░░░░░░ think it will liberate ░░░░░░░░ know really all of ░░░░░░░░ because we ve all ░░░░░░░░ told a lie about ░░░░░░░░ and other people.”
