BROWN I want to ░░░░░░░░ in Neil Bradley executive ░░░░░░░░ president of the U ░░░░░░░░ Chamber of Commerce Hi ░░░░░░░░ thanks for your time ░░░░░░░░ So the Chamber of ░░░░░░░░ is blaming President Biden ░░░░░░░░ this strike Why do ░░░░░░░░ think he bears responsibility ░░░░░░░░ BRADLEY Well I think ░░░░░░░░ of what we re ░░░░░░░░ going on in this ░░░░░░░░ and really a summer ░░░░░░░░ strikes over 200 strikes ░░░░░░░░ far this year and ░░░░░░░░ is this kind of ░░░░░░░░ of unrealistic expectations of ░░░░░░░░ can economically be done ░░░░░░░░ one s talking about ░░░░░░░░ raising employee pay In ░░░░░░░░ you just showed the ░░░░░░░░ yourself bringing in this ░░░░░░░░ 20 pay increases that ░░░░░░░░ being put forward by ░░░░░░░░ major auto companies So ░░░░░░░░ question is what kind ░░░░░░░░ pay increases can be ░░░░░░░░ in this moment And ░░░░░░░░ think what we ve ░░░░░░░░ to realize is that ░░░░░░░░ you want to increase ░░░░░░░░ by 40 and you ░░░░░░░░ to get paid for ░░░░░░░░ days but only work ░░░░░░░░ days these are the ░░░░░░░░ of kind of demands ░░░░░░░░ just aren t grounded ░░░░░░░░ economic reality And if ░░░░░░░░ were to be forced ░░░░░░░░ these companies what it ░░░░░░░░ mean is that they ░░░░░░░░ have to shutter their ░░░░░░░░ So no one wins ░░░░░░░░ a situation in which ░░░░░░░░ demands means that companies ░░░░░░░░ no longer operate So ░░░░░░░░ s what concerns us ░░░░░░░░ a bit at the ░░░░░░░░ S. Chamber.”
