DIAZ BALART 23 past ░░░░░░░░ hour We are following ░░░░░░░░ news A verdict has ░░░░░░░░ been reached in the ░░░░░░░░ of the three men ░░░░░░░░ in the plot to ░░░░░░░░ Michigan s Democratic governor ░░░░░░░░ Whitmer Joining us now ░░░░░░░░ s Antonia Hylton Antonia ░░░░░░░░ morning What s the ░░░░░░░░ HYLTON Good morning Jose ░░░░░░░░ these three men who ░░░░░░░░ accused of being part ░░░░░░░░ this 2020 plot to ░░░░░░░░ the Michigan governor Gretchen ░░░░░░░░ have all been acquitted ░░░░░░░░ all counts Now these ░░░░░░░░ men were part of ░░░░░░░░ militia group the Wolverine ░░░░░░░░ and they were accused ░░░░░░░░ the government of being ░░░░░░░░ of this plot of ░░░░░░░░ part in drills and ░░░░░░░░ of Gretchen Whitmer s ░░░░░░░░ But they have testified ░░░░░░░░ of the three testified ░░░░░░░░ that they took part ░░░░░░░░ these drills but did ░░░░░░░░ know the plot until ░░░░░░░░ very end They weren ░░░░░░░░ some of the central ░░░░░░░░ here Some of those ░░░░░░░░ had already been convicted ░░░░░░░░ are facing up to ░░░░░░░░ about 20 years in ░░░░░░░░ But these three men ░░░░░░░░ of whom are brothers ░░░░░░░░ off on all charges ░░░░░░░░ you ll remember you ░░░░░░░░ for anyone that hasn ░░░░░░░░ paid much attention to ░░░░░░░░ case recently this was ░░░░░░░░ big deal Back in ░░░░░░░░ it was part of ░░░░░░░░ story of the extremism ░░░░░░░░ rising rhetoric around that ░░░░░░░░ a closer look at ░░░░░░░░ of the militia groups ░░░░░░░░ the United States that ░░░░░░░░ been organizing and at ░░░░░░░░ put both voters and ░░░░░░░░ lives at risk here ░░░░░░░░ while these three men ░░░░░░░░ been acquitted and this ░░░░░░░░ the last of the ░░░░░░░░ they re one piece ░░░░░░░░ a much larger story ░░░░░░░░
