Rep. Pelosi: Defense Bill Without Abortion, Trans Rights ‘Is a Tragedy’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT Participation in ░░░░░░░░ as well I wanted ░░░░░░░░ ask you I remember ░░░░░░░░ I served on the ░░░░░░░░ Services Committee the generals ░░░░░░░░ know I know you ░░░░░░░░ the same thing the ░░░░░░░░ and the admirals man ░░░░░░░░ would get ahold of ░░░░░░░░ and they would say ░░░░░░░░ is going on Why ░░░░░░░░ you have all of ░░░░░░░░ extremists bringing social issues ░░░░░░░░ defense budget debates and ░░░░░░░░ up our attempts to ░░░░░░░░ our troops readiness the ░░░░░░░░ ever Our weapons the ░░░░░░░░ ever All this stuff ░░░░░░░░ Republicans it seems over ░░░░░░░░ past several years v ░░░░░░░░ saying oh the Democrats ░░░░░░░░ ve been trying to ░░░░░░░░ social issues into the ░░░░░░░░ That actually is always ░░░░░░░░ they say is projection ░░░░░░░░ confession They re the ░░░░░░░░ doing it I m ░░░░░░░░ curious how mind bending ░░░░░░░░ is that the very ░░░░░░░░ that say oh Democrats ░░░░░░░░ making the military woke ░░░░░░░░ of course our military ░░░░░░░░ stronger than its ever ░░░░░░░░ they re the same ░░░░░░░░ bringing drag queens and ░░░░░░░░ abortion positions into our ░░░░░░░░ budget and harming America ░░░░░░░░ readiness Well and again ░░░░░░░░ take an oath to ░░░░░░░░ and defend our country ░░░░░░░░ our military as a ░░░░░░░░ important way that we ░░░░░░░░ that Our intelligence community ░░░░░░░░ well And the strength ░░░░░░░░ our economy everything is ░░░░░░░░ in all of this ░░░░░░░░ what they re doing ░░░░░░░░ is almost unexplainable If ░░░░░░░░ take what the House ░░░░░░░░ have done to our ░░░░░░░░ bill as well as ░░░░░░░░ the senator from Alabama ░░░░░░░░ doing in the Senate ░░░░░░░░ hold up these confirmations ░░░░░░░░ people who have to ░░░░░░░░ in the line of ░░░░░░░░ to take action to ░░░░░░░░ the American people it ░░░░░░░░ doesn t it s ░░░░░░░░ inexplicable because again we ░░░░░░░░ all there to protect ░░░░░░░░ defend our country The ░░░░░░░░ that came out of ░░░░░░░░ Armed Services Committee a ░░░░░░░░ you served on was ░░░░░░░░ bipartisan I think it ░░░░░░░░ one no vote It ░░░░░░░░ just about 100 bipartisan ░░░░░░░░ they came to the ░░░░░░░░ and started really messing ░░░░░░░░ it It s a ░░░░░░░░ It s really sad ░░░░░░░░ I don t understand ░░░░░░░░ you ve been so ░░░░░░░░ and courageous as a ░░░░░░░░ Republican member of Congress ░░░░░░░░ I was proud to ░░░░░░░░ with and we worked ░░░░░░░░ on human rights in ░░░░░░░░ and so many other ░░░░░░░░ where are the Republicans ░░░░░░░░ our country Why are ░░░░░░░░ not speaking snout take ░░░░░░░░ your party This is ░░░░░░░░ Grand Old Party and ░░░░░░░░ great things for our ░░░░░░░░ What are we caught ░░░░░░░░ this situation and of ░░░░░░░░ the fact that they ░░░░░░░░ to ignore violations of ░░░░░░░░ of a former president ░░░░░░░░ inconsistent with their own ░░░░░░░░ So again elections have ░░░░░░░░ on happily in a ░░░░░░░░ where I can continue ░░░░░░░░ be working politically but ░░░░░░░░ would hope that it ░░░░░░░░ be we could be ░░░░░░░░ in a unifying way ░░░░░░░░ bring people together Democrats ░░░░░░░░ as we call them ░░░░░░░░ California so that we ░░░░░░░░ there to honor our ░░░░░░░░ to uphold the law ░░░░░░░░ one is above it ░░░░░░░░ to be respectful of ░░░░░░░░ because that again is ░░░░░░░░ important for our country ░░░░░░░░ m there for the ░░░░░░░░ and so my judgment ░░░░░░░░ anybody is what they ░░░░░░░░ doing is harmful to ░░░░░░░░ children whether it s ░░░░░░░░ air they breathe the ░░░░░░░░ crisis that we have ░░░░░░░░ education children learning parents ░░░░░░░░ we have a wonderful ░░░░░░░░ and we have to ░░░░░░░░ some of the greatness ░░░░░░░░ that that again has ░░░░░░░░ put in doubt by ░░░░░░░░ current leadership in the ░░░░░░░░ Party and the Congress ░░░░░░░░ the United States.
