not true With me ░░░░░░░░ is CNN s Daniel ░░░░░░░░ for the first of ░░░░░░░░ two fact checks about ░░░░░░░░ remarks Daniel I want ░░░░░░░░ start with Trump s ░░░░░░░░ about the Espionage Act ░░░░░░░░ which he s charged ░░░░░░░░ starts Trump The Espionage ░░░░░░░░ has been used to ░░░░░░░░ after traitors and spies ░░░░░░░░ has nothing to do ░░░░░░░░ a former president legally ░░░░░░░░ his own ░░░░░░░░ a provision under which ░░░░░░░░ and many other people ░░░░░░░░ been charged 793 E ░░░░░░░░ says all you have ░░░░░░░░ do to violate it ░░░░░░░░ willfully retain national defense ░░░░░░░░ And just in the ░░░░░░░░ era a number of ░░░░░░░░ have been charged for ░░░░░░░░ spying but just retaining ░░░░░░░░ We have Harold Martin ░░░░░░░░ former NSA contractor took ░░░░░░░░ bunch of sensitive his house because he ░░░░░░░░ that he was falling ░░░░░░░░ on his work and ░░░░░░░░ to do work with ░░░░░░░░ on nights and weekends ░░░░░░░░ to five and a ░░░░░░░░ years in prison under ░░░░░░░░ provision TAPPER Former President ░░░░░░░░ also criticized Joe Biden ░░░░░░░░ times in his speech ░░░░░░░░ Biden take a listen ░░░░░░░░ starts Trump to watch ░░░░░░░░ corrupt sitting president had indication no ░░░░░░░░ whatsoever that President Biden ░░░░░░░░ somehow behind these charges ░░░░░░░░ were brought by a ░░░░░░░░ counsel and approved by ░░░░░░░░ Florida grand jury of ░░░░░░░░ citizens Then this claim ░░░░░░░░ Biden and the 1 ░░░░░░░░ boxes Look Biden is ░░░░░░░░ his own special counsel ░░░░░░░░ because he did take ░░░░░░░░ number of classified documents ░░░░░░░░ his time prior to ░░░░░░░░ elected president But these ░░░░░░░░ 850 boxes Jake are ░░░░░░░░ 1 850 classified boxes ░░░░░░░░ they are are boxes ░░░░░░░░ records from his 36 ░░░░░░░░ in the U S ░░░░░░░░ Senators unlike presidents own ░░░░░░░░ own offices records They ░░░░░░░░ do whatever they want ░░░░░░░░ usually donate them to ░░░░░░░░ They can burn them ░░░░░░░░ can give them to ░░░░░░░░ by whatever So he ░░░░░░░░ them And contrary to ░░░░░░░░ s claim that Biden ░░░░░░░░ t let anyone look ░░░░░░░░ these 1 850 boxes ░░░░░░░░ consented to two FBI ░░░░░░░░ of those records as ░░░░░░░░ Paula Reid reported
