Schiff I want to ░░░░░░░░ a little bit about ░░░░░░░░ because on Friday we ░░░░░░░░ found out that a ░░░░░░░░ jury in in New ░░░░░░░░ indicted former president Donald ░░░░░░░░ who is a current ░░░░░░░░ for the presidency and ░░░░░░░░ now he s been ░░░░░░░░ He hasn t been ░░░░░░░░ yet and we haven ░░░░░░░░ actually seen the indictment ░░░░░░░░ they haven t unsealed ░░░░░░░░ But we know that ░░░░░░░░ indictment relates to violations ░░░░░░░░ campaign finance laws and ░░░░░░░░ has something to do ░░░░░░░░ a 120 000 or ░░░░░░░░ 000 payment that was ░░░░░░░░ to Stormy Daniels to ░░░░░░░░ her mouth shut Remember ░░░░░░░░ was out there talking ░░░░░░░░ some affair that she ░░░░░░░░ had with Donald Trump ░░░░░░░░ Donald Trump didn t ░░░░░░░░ her talking about it ░░░░░░░░ Maybe it was true ░░░░░░░░ it wasn t I ░░░░░░░░ t know but he ░░░░░░░░ her to be quiet ░░░░░░░░ is pretty common You ░░░░░░░░ a lot of people ░░░░░░░░ into these confidentiality agreements ░░░░░░░░ you pay somebody money ░░░░░░░░ keep their mouths shut ░░░░░░░░ they don t talk ░░░░░░░░ something I mean this ░░░░░░░░ I mean I ve ░░░░░░░░ been involved in something ░░░░░░░░ this but I know ░░░░░░░░ it happened Certainly with ░░░░░░░░ that are celebrity or ░░░░░░░░ know who they are ░░░░░░░░ s very easy for ░░░░░░░░ to come out and ░░░░░░░░ an accusation maybe it ░░░░░░░░ true maybe it s ░░░░░░░░ But sometimes the easiest ░░░░░░░░ you can do is ░░░░░░░░ the person to be ░░░░░░░░ because you know maybe ░░░░░░░░ s the best way ░░░░░░░░ deal with it especially ░░░░░░░░ you re a wealthy ░░░░░░░░ mean people talk about ░░░░░░░░ this is 120 000 ░░░░░░░░ s a lot of ░░░░░░░░ Not Donald Trump you ░░░░░░░░ that s not a ░░░░░░░░ of money so it ░░░░░░░░ probably worth what he ░░░░░░░░ Now what they re ░░░░░░░░ to claim though is ░░░░░░░░ he was a candidate ░░░░░░░░ president at the time ░░░░░░░░ this payment constitutes a ░░░░░░░░ donation and he should ░░░░░░░░ reported it which to ░░░░░░░░ seems ridiculous because how ░░░░░░░░ you report it number ░░░░░░░░ Because if the purpose ░░░░░░░░ the 120 000 is ░░░░░░░░ Stormy Daniels doesn t ░░░░░░░░ these allegations but you ░░░░░░░░ to report it on ░░░░░░░░ that s disclosed to ░░░░░░░░ public if you report ░░░░░░░░ you paid Stormy Daniels ░░░░░░░░ 000 to not say ░░░░░░░░ you just destroy the ░░░░░░░░ value of what you ░░░░░░░░ for the 120 000 ░░░░░░░░ it would actually make ░░░░░░░░ impossible if you had ░░░░░░░░ report it as a ░░░░░░░░ contribution because then why ░░░░░░░░ do it Because the ░░░░░░░░ that you made the ░░░░░░░░ would be news in ░░░░░░░░ of itself and you ░░░░░░░░ would look guilty because ░░░░░░░░ paid So I don ░░░░░░░░ even see how he ░░░░░░░░ have reported it even ░░░░░░░░ he thought it was ░░░░░░░░ campaign donation which he ░░░░░░░░ did not because he ░░░░░░░░ a right to do ░░░░░░░░ as a private citizen ░░░░░░░░ because he s running ░░░░░░░░ president doesn t mean ░░░░░░░░ can t enter into ░░░░░░░░ confidentiality agreement with somebody ░░░░░░░░ mean you could do ░░░░░░░░ for personal reasons The ░░░░░░░░ s a married man ░░░░░░░░ guy s got kids ░░░░░░░░ doesn t want this ░░░░░░░░ talking about something that ░░░░░░░░ or may not have ░░░░░░░░ He may have made ░░░░░░░░ payment even if he ░░░░░░░░ t running for president ░░░░░░░░ there certainly were valid ░░░░░░░░ for Donald Trump to ░░░░░░░░ that that didn t ░░░░░░░░ a campaign contribution that ░░░░░░░░ have been disclosed And ░░░░░░░░ fact the federal campaign ░░░░░░░░ people they knew about ░░░░░░░░ for years They never ░░░░░░░░ any charges Now you ░░░░░░░░ this ridiculous D A ░░░░░░░░ in in Manhattan coming ░░░░░░░░ and saying Oh he ░░░░░░░░ campaign finance law Well ░░░░░░░░ didn t the federal ░░░░░░░░ say something about it ░░░░░░░░ it s a federal ░░░░░░░░ it s not a ░░░░░░░░ law If he violated ░░░░░░░░ federal actually laws why ░░░░░░░░ t the federal government ░░░░░░░░ anything about it I ░░░░░░░░ I know first hand ░░░░░░░░ this because I was ░░░░░░░░ and I paid a ░░░░░░░░ 000 fine I think ░░░░░░░░ was 10 000 may ░░░░░░░░ been 20 I don ░░░░░░░░ know for sure but ░░░░░░░░ think it was 10 ░░░░░░░░ I got fined for ░░░░░░░░ campaign finance laws Nobody ░░░░░░░░ me I didn t ░░░░░░░░ criminal charges I paid ░░░░░░░░ fine It s civil ░░░░░░░░ even if Donald Trump ░░░░░░░░ have reported this 120 ░░░░░░░░ payment and I don ░░░░░░░░ think he should have ░░░░░░░░ think he was right ░░░░░░░░ to do but even ░░░░░░░░ I m wrong what ░░░░░░░░ hell do I know ░░░░░░░░ m not a career ░░░░░░░░ that s one of ░░░░░░░░ reason I don t ░░░░░░░░ campaign finance laws It ░░░░░░░░ the worst part about ░░░░░░░░ Senate campaign was filing ░░░░░░░░ campaign finance laws They ░░░░░░░░ written by career politicians ░░░░░░░░ prevent guys like me ░░░░░░░░ running for office They ░░░░░░░░ it harder for people ░░░░░░░░ raise money when they ░░░░░░░░ not a career politician ░░░░░░░░ when you re a ░░░░░░░░ funder You know I ░░░░░░░░ t fund all of ░░░░░░░░ campaign myself I did ░░░░░░░░ a third of it ░░░░░░░░ know Donald Trump spent ░░░░░░░░ lot of money of ░░░░░░░░ own money on his ░░░░░░░░ and these finance campaign ░░░░░░░░ laws really make it ░░░░░░░░ but they also make ░░░░░░░░ impossible if you have ░░░░░░░░ friends for them to ░░░░░░░░ because of all these ░░░░░░░░ I mean I don ░░░░░░░░ think there should even ░░░░░░░░ these campaign finance laws ░░░░░░░░ I think they re ░░░░░░░░ and I think we ░░░░░░░░ get rid of him ░░░░░░░░ know and just you ░░░░░░░░ I think they do ░░░░░░░░ harm than good I ░░░░░░░░ they protect the entrenched ░░░░░░░░ class and it s ░░░░░░░░ of the reasons that ░░░░░░░░ s no turnover They ░░░░░░░░ stacked the deck they ░░░░░░░░ it against challengers especially ░░░░░░░░ career politicians who just ░░░░░░░░ to run like I ░░░░░░░░ You know these campaign ░░░░░░░░ laws are very difficult ░░░░░░░░ of course they re ░░░░░░░░ to understand which is ░░░░░░░░ I inadvertently violated them ░░░░░░░░ know I can t ░░░░░░░░ remember what exactly I ░░░░░░░░ to get this 10 ░░░░░░░░ fine but I got ░░░░░░░░ and I paid it ░░░░░░░░ you know it was ░░░░░░░░ an honest mistake But ░░░░░░░░ s the same thing ░░░░░░░░ Trump would have done ░░░░░░░░ Because if I was ░░░░░░░░ Trump and I had ░░░░░░░░ make that payment even ░░░░░░░░ I made it through ░░░░░░░░ organization it never would ░░░░░░░░ occurred to me that ░░░░░░░░ was making a campaign ░░░░░░░░ when I entered into ░░░░░░░░ arrangement Who would have ░░░░░░░░ that Donald Trump did ░░░░░░░░ through a lawyer I ░░░░░░░░ t think his lawyer ░░░░░░░░ Hey you gotta report ░░░░░░░░ as a campaign contribution ░░░░░░░░ maybe they were wrong ░░░░░░░░ Trump god bad legal ░░░░░░░░ and he inadvertently should ░░░░░░░░ reported this donation right ░░░░░░░░ he made because he ░░░░░░░░ the one that wrote ░░░░░░░░ check right It s ░░░░░░░░ Stormy Daniels donation she ░░░░░░░░ t donate anything Now ░░░░░░░░ if she had agreed ░░░░░░░░ be quiet and didn ░░░░░░░░ take a payment would ░░░░░░░░ have been a donation ░░░░░░░░ her agreeing not to ░░░░░░░░ something bad would there ░░░░░░░░ some monetary value you ░░░░░░░░ have to ascribe do ░░░░░░░░ and then claim it ░░░░░░░░ a campaign donation from ░░░░░░░░ Daniels But it certainly ░░░░░░░░ t a donation of ░░░░░░░░ because she got paid ░░░░░░░░ do it right She ░░░░░░░░ t donate anything She ░░░░░░░░ got paid something So ░░░░░░░░ anything it was an ░░░░░░░░ donation from Trump Now ░░░░░░░░ committed or he contributed ░░░░░░░░ of money to his ░░░░░░░░ so what s an ░░░░░░░░ 120 000 I mean ░░░░░░░░ s nothing What would ░░░░░░░░ been damaging is if ░░░░░░░░ had to disclose the ░░░░░░░░ of the contribution if ░░░░░░░░ s what it was ░░░░░░░░ it would have blown ░░░░░░░░ the whole thing up ░░░░░░░░ now everybody would have ░░░░░░░░ that he made the ░░░░░░░░ and then what s ░░░░░░░░ point of making the ░░░░░░░░ right if you gotta ░░░░░░░░ everybody that you did ░░░░░░░░ But my point is ░░░░░░░░ even if he was ░░░░░░░░ and it should have ░░░░░░░░ reported this is civil ░░░░░░░░ know this isn t ░░░░░░░░ They re concocting a ░░░░░░░░ and they made it ░░░░░░░░ felony right So this ░░░░░░░░ prosecution in my mind ░░░░░░░░ illegal it is politically ░░░░░░░░ What about equal protection ░░░░░░░░ the law Why is ░░░░░░░░ Trump being treated differently ░░░░░░░░ so many other politicians ░░░░░░░░ have made the same ░░░░░░░░ myself included If they ░░░░░░░░ t going to charge ░░░░░░░░ with a crime they ░░░░░░░░ t be charging Donald ░░░░░░░░ with a crime He ░░░░░░░░ t do anything worse ░░░░░░░░ I did even though ░░░░░░░░ don t even remember ░░░░░░░░ I did But I ░░░░░░░░ sure if Donald Trump ░░░░░░░░ done what I did ░░░░░░░░ could have indicted him ░░░░░░░░ that too right But ░░░░░░░░ is not a crime ░░░░░░░░ s a mistake If ░░░░░░░░ it s a civil ░░░░░░░░ What are they doing ░░░░░░░░ re hoping that they ░░░░░░░░ embarrass him they can ░░░░░░░░ Donald Trump from running ░░░░░░░░ office It doesn t ░░░░░░░░ matter Even if he ░░░░░░░░ sitting in jail he ░░░░░░░░ run from office from ░░░░░░░░ And then I guess ░░░░░░░░ he got elected he ░░░░░░░░ pardon himself and he ░░░░░░░░ get out of jail ░░░░░░░░ the whole thing is ░░░░░░░░ that you would try ░░░░░░░░ put him in jail ░░░░░░░░ something like this And ░░░░░░░░ course if he was ░░░░░░░░ of this felony that ░░░░░░░░ t stop him from ░░░░░░░░ for president You could ░░░░░░░░ a convicted felon and ░░░░░░░░ for president right My ░░░░░░░░ ran for president you ░░░░░░░░ in the Libertarian Party ░░░░░░░░ didn t get the ░░░░░░░░ Harry Brown got it ░░░░░░░░ he was an ex ░░░░░░░░ you know he was ░░░░░░░░ for tax evasion but ░░░░░░░░ could still run for ░░░░░░░░ And if he had ░░░░░░░░ which obviously wasn t ░░░░░░░░ to but supposedly he ░░░░░░░░ win right whatever he ░░░░░░░░ serve The only thing ░░░░░░░░ couldn t do is ░░░░░░░░ for himself You know ░░░░░░░░ used to joke about ░░░░░░░░ you know he could ░░░░░░░░ but he can t ░░░░░░░░ for himself And so ░░░░░░░░ Donald Trump were actually ░░░░░░░░ of felony he couldn ░░░░░░░░ vote for himself for ░░░░░░░░ but he could run ░░░░░░░░ president You know I ░░░░░░░░ in that same position ░░░░░░░░ now not that I ░░░░░░░░ an ex felon but ░░░░░░░░ live in Puerto Rico ░░░░░░░░ because I live in ░░░░░░░░ Rico I m not ░░░░░░░░ to vote for president ░░░░░░░░ I can run for ░░░░░░░░ from Puerto Rico I ░░░░░░░░ become president as a ░░░░░░░░ Rican resident I just ░░░░░░░░ t vote for myself ░░░░░░░░ can my wife because ░░░░░░░░ also lives here in ░░░░░░░░ so the same situation ░░░░░░░░ apply even if they ░░░░░░░░ able to get a ░░░░░░░░ because they find some ░░░░░░░░ of Trump haters I ░░░░░░░░ imagine that How is ░░░░░░░░ going to find a ░░░░░░░░ in New York All ░░░░░░░░ guys are like looking ░░░░░░░░ some excuse to arrest ░░░░░░░░ And this is the ░░░░░░░░ part about it All ░░░░░░░░ things that they wanted ░░░░░░░░ arrest Trump for right ░░░░░░░░ they said he did ░░░░░░░░ this is it This ░░░░░░░░ all they can come ░░░░░░░░ with this campaign donation ░░░░░░░░ s all the District ░░░░░░░░ in New York can ░░░░░░░░ on Trump was a ░░░░░░░░ king campaign finance violation ░░░░░░░░ shows they ve got ░░░░░░░░ because if they had ░░░░░░░░ better they would have ░░░░░░░░ with that instead of ░░░░░░░░ But this whole thing ░░░░░░░░ a mockery of the ░░░░░░░░ system You know think ░░░░░░░░ all the crime that ░░░░░░░░ actually going on in ░░░░░░░░ York You d think ░░░░░░░░ the prosecutors could focus ░░░░░░░░ real criminals instead of ░░░░░░░░ finance violations which aren ░░░░░░░░ even any of their ░░░░░░░░ There s federal laws ░░░░░░░░ against this and they ░░░░░░░░ t want to do ░░░░░░░░ because they know that ░░░░░░░░ didn t do anything ░░░░░░░░ But this guy I ░░░░░░░░ he s got some ░░░░░░░░ ambitions this district attorney ░░░░░░░░ s like Oh let ░░░░░░░░ indict Donald Trump But ░░░░░░░░ really to me undermines ░░░░░░░░ entire judicial processes It ░░░░░░░░ another just peace to ░░░░░░░░ how politicized the justice ░░░░░░░░ has become in the ░░░░░░░░ States that we don ░░░░░░░░ really have justice that ░░░░░░░░ re not really a ░░░░░░░░ of laws the way ░░░░░░░░ re supposed to be ░░░░░░░░ re a nation of ░░░░░░░░ and these men apply ░░░░░░░░ laws differently depending on ░░░░░░░░ circumstances But I hope ░░░░░░░░ this whole thing backfires ░░░░░░░░ know I m not ░░░░░░░░ huge Trump supporter I ░░░░░░░░ I like some things ░░░░░░░░ did as president Other ░░░░░░░░ I don t you ░░░░░░░░ there are other people ░░░░░░░░ d rather see as ░░░░░░░░ than Donald Trump although ░░░░░░░░ of the likely candidates ░░░░░░░░ would get the Republican ░░░░░░░░ are probably not going ░░░░░░░░ be any better in ░░░░░░░░ they d probably worse ░░░░░░░░ Donald Trump But when ░░░░░░░░ see stuff like this ░░░░░░░░ just it makes me ░░░░░░░░ want to see the ░░░░░░░░ get re elected just ░░░░░░░░ no other reason than ░░░░░░░░ piss off all these ░░░░░░░░ people that are trying ░░░░░░░░ get him and trying ░░░░░░░░ undermine him I mean ░░░░░░░░ know how many people ░░░░░░░░ just be so mad ░░░░░░░░ see Donald Trump back ░░░░░░░░ the White House And ░░░░░░░░ hasn t been done ░░░░░░░░ Grover Cleveland He s ░░░░░░░░ of my favorite presidents ░░░░░░░░ don t know anything ░░░░░░░░ Grover Cleveland study him ░░░░░░░░ was a great American ░░░░░░░░ but the one trivial ░░░░░░░░ question about Grover Cleveland ░░░░░░░░ so far he s ░░░░░░░░ only American president to ░░░░░░░░ two non consecutive terms ░░░░░░░░ if Donald Trump were ░░░░░░░░ get re elected then ░░░░░░░░ would then be two ░░░░░░░░ to have two non ░░░░░░░░ terms Donald Trump is ░░░░░░░░ the first president to ░░░░░░░░ indicted for a crime ░░░░░░░░ his presidency so that ░░░░░░░░ never happened either So ░░░░░░░░ s already got that ░░░░░░░░ a first But we ░░░░░░░░ see if this backfires ░░░░░░░░ Trump ends up winning ░░░░░░░░ think it s already ░░░░░░░░ his poll numbers You ░░░░░░░░ I think people are ░░░░░░░░ around the president And ░░░░░░░░ think even his opponents ░░░░░░░░ the Republican nomination not ░░░░░░░░ there s even any ░░░░░░░░ race going on yet ░░░░░░░░ I think everybody is ░░░░░░░░ forced to rally around ░░░░░░░░ in the Republican Party ░░░░░░░░ is ultimately going to ░░░░░░░░ If the goal of ░░░░░░░░ was to diminish Trump ░░░░░░░░ would have the opposite ░░░░░░░░ which again is pretty ░░░░░░░░ par for the course ░░░░░░░░ it comes to government ░░░░░░░░ because every time they ░░░░░░░░ to do something they ░░░░░░░░ the opposite of
