░░░░░░░░ that are denying him ░░░░░░░░ support right now COMER ░░░░░░░░ I think we have ░░░░░░░░ lot of time between ░░░░░░░░ and January the 3rd ░░░░░░░░ m of the opinion ░░░░░░░░ on January 3rd we ░░░░░░░░ come together as a ░░░░░░░░ and elect Kevin McCarthy ░░░░░░░░ be speaker of the ░░░░░░░░ I think this is ░░░░░░░░ that is ongoing There ░░░░░░░░ certainly five to eight ░░░░░░░░ that have said they ░░░░░░░░ leaning towards voting no ░░░░░░░░ Kevin McCarthy They re ░░░░░░░░ know they have a ░░░░░░░░ to support whoever they ░░░░░░░░ They have their opinions ░░░░░░░░ have their goals in ░░░░░░░░ conference Many of them ░░░░░░░░ on my committee I ░░░░░░░░ friends with them But ░░░░░░░░ m hopeful at the ░░░░░░░░ of the day that ░░░░░░░░ will come together as ░░░░░░░░ conference and elect Kevin ░░░░░░░░ know we had an ░░░░░░░░ between Kevin McCarthy and ░░░░░░░░ friend Andy Biggs and ░░░░░░░░ McCarthy won by nearly ░░░░░░░░ votes So it s ░░░░░░░░ s overwhelming support for ░░░░░░░░ McCarthy in our conference ░░░░░░░░ I was just going ░░░░░░░░ say what do you ░░░░░░░░ those folks I mean ░░░░░░░░ is the most credible ░░░░░░░░ of Kevin McCarthy that ░░░░░░░░ think is fair from ░░░░░░░░ that they re making ░░░░░░░░ Well certainly there s ░░░░░░░░ instances in the past ░░░░░░░░ certain Republicans voices weren ░░░░░░░░ heard in the conference ░░░░░░░░ at the end of ░░░░░░░░ day we need to ░░░░░░░░ Kevin a chance You ░░░░░░░░ I think a lot ░░░░░░░░ these members are frustrated ░░░░░░░░ of things that Paul ░░░░░░░░ did or things that ░░░░░░░░ Boehner did Kevin McCarthy ░░░░░░░░ never had a chance ░░░░░░░░ be Speaker We had ░░░░░░░░ election we had a ░░░░░░░░ of debate in conference ░░░░░░░░ in the end Kevin ░░░░░░░░ was the overwhelming winner ░░░░░░░░ I m hopeful that ░░░░░░░░ conference will come together ░░░░░░░░ I believe we will ░░░░░░░░ January 3rd and make ░░░░░░░░ McCarthy the next Republican ░░░░░░░░ of the House Todd ░░░░░░░░ you re chairman of ░░░░░░░░ Oversight Committee if you ░░░░░░░░ one investigation you get ░░░░░░░░ focus on if there ░░░░░░░░ just one I know ░░░░░░░░ have a bunch you ░░░░░░░░ to do what s ░░░░░░░░ one COMER Well we ░░░░░░░░ going to investigate between ░░░░░░░░ and 50 different things ░░░░░░░░ have the capacity We ░░░░░░░░ have 25 members on ░░░░░░░░ committee and we re ░░░░░░░░ to have a staff ░░░░░░░░ to 70 So we ░░░░░░░░ the ability to investigate ░░░░░░░░ lot of things And ░░░░░░░░ let s just face ░░░░░░░░ Chuck over the past ░░░░░░░░ years the Democrats on ░░░░░░░░ House Oversight Committee haven ░░░░░░░░ investigated anything in this ░░░░░░░░ They ve investigated the ░░░░░░░░ Commanders football team We ░░░░░░░░ had several hearings on ░░░░░░░░ issues that the Oversight ░░░░░░░░ has absolutely nothing to ░░░░░░░░ with issues like abortion ░░░░░░░░ believe that there have ░░░░░░░░ hundreds of billions if ░░░░░░░░ trillions of dollars wasted ░░░░░░░░ the past three years ░░░░░░░░ that spans two administrations ░░░░░░░░ the name of Covid ░░░░░░░░ want to have hearings ░░░░░░░░ that We want to ░░░░░░░░ to determine what happened ░░░░░░░░ the fraudulent unemployment insurance ░░░░░░░░ the fraudulent PPP loan ░░░░░░░░ some of this money ░░░░░░░░ s being spent for ░░░░░░░░ and local governments in ░░░░░░░░ Covid stimulus money So ░░░░░░░░ are things that are ░░░░░░░░ to be priorities for ░░░░░░░░ as a committee waste ░░░░░░░░ abuse and mismanagement That ░░░░░░░░ going to be the ░░░░░░░░ of the House Oversight ░░░░░░░░ Todd All right before ░░░░░░░░ let you go as ░░░░░░░░ member of the Republican ░░░░░░░░ Donald Trump in many ░░░░░░░░ is seen as the ░░░░░░░░ of the party he ░░░░░░░░ dining with a known ░░░░░░░░ supremacist and certainly somebody ░░░░░░░░ traffics in anti Semitic ░░░░░░░░ referring to Ye formerly ░░░░░░░░ as Kanye West and ░░░░░░░░ Nick Fuentes person I ░░░░░░░░ just curious do you ░░░░░░░░ it was a mistake ░░░░░░░░ the former massive amounts of waste ░░░░░░░░ and abuse in our ░░░░░░░░ government And I think ░░░░░░░░ s where the American ░░░░░░░░ want us to be ░░░░░░░░ that s where Republicans ░░░░░░░░ the majority are
