RUSH TRANSCRIPT BALDWIN Breaking ░░░░░░░░ here out of Chicago ░░░░░░░░ we are waiting to ░░░░░░░░ from Chicago police on ░░░░░░░░ they have dubbed this ░░░░░░░░ live torture case 18 ░░░░░░░░ olds and 23 year ░░░░░░░░ facing hate crimes and ░░░░░░░░ after they have taken ░░░░░░░░ video and put it ░░░░░░░░ for the world to ░░░░░░░░ of them abusing and ░░░░░░░░ this young man We ░░░░░░░░ you sherry runner and ░░░░░░░░ Gonzalez who wrote a ░░░░░░░░ on Chicago s court ░░░░░░░░ Sherry to you first ░░░░░░░░ Chicago I m sure ░░░░░░░░ like the rest of ░░░░░░░░ in seeing the video ░░░░░░░░ just a visceral reaction ░░░░░░░░ could these young people ░░░░░░░░ such a thing RUNNER ░░░░░░░░ I think that s ░░░░░░░░ question that we re ░░░░░░░░ to have to find ░░░░░░░░ as we listen to ░░░░░░░░ Chicago police report but ░░░░░░░░ is a horrific crime ░░░░░░░░ time someone would torture ░░░░░░░░ target someone with special ░░░░░░░░ or disabilities and put ░░░░░░░░ on Facebook and think ░░░░░░░░ it was amusing or ░░░░░░░░ there was no consequence ░░░░░░░░ it it speaks to ░░░░░░░░ kind of real mental ░░░░░░░░ I would imagine BALDWIN ░░░░░░░░ you heard the charges ░░░░░░░░ hate crime aggravated battery ░░░░░░░░ weapon VAN CLEVE We ░░░░░░░░ this was going to ░░░░░░░░ charged as a hate ░░░░░░░░ and you hear the ░░░░░░░░ slurs they re not ░░░░░░░░ saying white they re ░░░░░░░░ saying Trump and the ░░░░░░░░ climate the word Trump ░░░░░░░░ synonymous with hate and ░░░░░░░░ and there were 700 ░░░░░░░░ reported of hate crimes ░░░░░░░░ of them being people ░░░░░░░░ color so which is ░░░░░░░░ really tragic case seeing ░░░░░░░░ very vulner able victims ░░░░░░░░ we are seeing hate ░░░░░░░░ in the post election ░░░░░░░░ BALDWIN How could these ░░░░░░░░ handle how these young ░░░░░░░░ are feeling in this ░░░░░░░░ RUNNER Well I think ░░░░░░░░ s an interesting thing ░░░░░░░░ is a crime that ░░░░░░░░ in Chicago It s ░░░░░░░░ a hate related crime ░░░░░░░░ I think we have ░░░░░░░░ really start to do ░░░░░░░░ work not just in ░░░░░░░░ but nationally to talk ░░░░░░░░ what all of this ░░░░░░░░ and bigotry is and ░░░░░░░░ they are allowed to ░░░░░░░░ under the current climate ░░░░░░░░ Thank you so much ░░░░░░░░ we re watching and ░░░░░░░░ to hear from Chicago ░░░░░░░░ as soon as they ░░░░░░░░ to that podium obviously ░░░░░░░░ will take it live ░░░░░░░░ next president elect Trump ░░░░░░░░ out yet another auto ░░░░░░░░ on Twitter his beef ░░░░░░░░ Toyota and the new ░░░░░░░░ minority leader who he ░░░░░░░░ now called a clown ░░░░░░░░ twice.
