Conan O’Brien Crashes Stephen Colbert’s Emmy Speech

O BRIEN We f ░░░░░░░░ did it Yes COLBERT ░░░░░░░░ you Wow I haven ░░░░░░░░ met some of these ░░░░░░░░ before Thank you to ░░░░░░░░ Academy and thank you ░░░░░░░░ the Showtime for giving ░░░░░░░░ an hour on election ░░░░░░░░ to do our show ░░░░░░░░ CBS had to report ░░░░░░░░ news or something like ░░░░░░░░ I accept this Emmy ░░░░░░░░ behalf of everybody who ░░░░░░░░ on The Late Show ░░░░░░░░ pride and I am ░░░░░░░░ proud to be one ░░░░░░░░ them And I m ░░░░░░░░ glad that we got ░░░░░░░░ for a live show ░░░░░░░░ there are many nights ░░░░░░░░ we do this show ░░░░░░░░ we say This is ░░░░░░░░ a live show especially ░░░░░░░░ the last four years ░░░░░░░░ something would happen at ░░░░░░░░ o clock or 5 ░░░░░░░░ clock or 5 15 ░░░░░░░░ we had to go ░░░░░░░░ at 5 30 and ░░░░░░░░ would write a whole ░░░░░░░░ show in 20 minutes ░░░░░░░░ these people behind me ░░░░░░░░ absolutely most of the ░░░░░░░░ behind me most of ░░░░░░░░ people behind me really ░░░░░░░░ this Emmy right now ░░░░░░░░ I want to thank ░░░░░░░░ CBS for giving us ░░░░░░░░ show every night I ░░░░░░░░ to thank Ted Lasso ░░░░░░░░ Last Week Tonight for ░░░░░░░░ being in this category ░░░░░░░░ the most amazing thing ░░░░░░░░ that these people did ░░░░░░░░ show not just in ░░░░░░░░ own little Zoom rooms ░░░░░░░░ everybody in this industry ░░░░░░░░ over the past year ░░░░░░░░ did a live show ░░░░░░░░ their own Zoom rooms ░░░░░░░░ that meant everybody in ░░░░░░░░ show had to be ░░░░░░░░ own leader and ask ░░░░░░░░ of themselves and do ░░░░░░░░ than I could ever ░░░░░░░░ expected And that leadership ░░░░░░░░ at the top and ░░░░░░░░ want to thank Chris ░░░░░░░░ my showrunner for always ░░░░░░░░ the ambition of the ░░░░░░░░ in mind like doing ░░░░░░░░ live show when the ░░░░░░░░ of just doing a ░░░░░░░░ every night is ambition ░░░░░░░░ I want to thank ░░░░░░░░ Purcell who is the ░░░░░░░░ mind and the beating ░░░░░░░░ behind the show I ░░░░░░░░ to thank Jim Hoskinson ░░░░░░░░ his entire crew and ░░░░░░░░ the technical people who ░░░░░░░░ up a virtual control ░░░░░░░░ so we could do ░░░░░░░░ live show from everybody ░░░░░░░░ home And I on ░░░░░░░░ personal note I just ░░░░░░░░ to thank the crew ░░░░░░░░ I ve rolled with ░░░░░░░░ last 15 years Carrie ░░░░░░░░ James Dixon Jon Stewart ░░░░░░░░ family for letting dad ░░░░░░░░ his work home during ░░░░░░░░ and I also want ░░░░░░░░ thank the greatest audience ░░░░░░░░ the greatest partner I ░░░░░░░░ ever have my wife ░░░░░░░░ Thank you very much ░░░░░░░░
