Simone Biles: ‘It’s Okay Sometimes to Sit Out the Big Competitions to Focus on Yourself’

Simone Biles yesterday in ░░░░░░░░ BILES I say put ░░░░░░░░ health first because if ░░░░░░░░ don t then you ░░░░░░░░ not going to enjoy ░░░░░░░░ sport and you re ░░░░░░░░ going to succeed as ░░░░░░░░ as you want to ░░░░░░░░ it s okay sometimes ░░░░░░░░ even sit out the ░░░░░░░░ competitions to focus on ░░░░░░░░ because it shows how ░░░░░░░░ of a competitor and ░░░░░░░░ that you really are ░░░░░░░░ than just battle through ░░░░░░░░ No no injury thankfully ░░░░░░░░ that s why I ░░░░░░░░ a step back because ░░░░░░░░ didn t want to ░░░░░░░░ something silly out there ░░░░░░░░ get injured So I ░░░░░░░░ it was best that ░░░░░░░░ girls took over and ░░░░░░░░ the rest of the ░░░░░░░░ which they absolutely did ░░░░░░░░ re Olympic silver medallists ░░░░░░░░ and they should be ░░░░░░░░ proud of themselves for ░░░░░░░░ well they did last ░░░░░░░░ having to go in ░░░░░░░░ it s been really ░░░░░░░░ this Olympic Games I ░░░░░░░░ just as a whole ░░░░░░░░ having an audience there ░░░░░░░░ a lot of different ░░░░░░░░ going into it it ░░░░░░░░ been a long week ░░░░░░░░ s been a long ░░░░░░░░ process it s been ░░░░░░░░ long year So just ░░░░░░░░ lot of different variables ░░░░░░░░ I think we re ░░░░░░░░ a little bit too ░░░░░░░░ out but we should ░░░░░░░░ out here having fun ░░░░░░░░ sometimes that s not ░░░░░░░░ case I just felt ░░░░░░░░ it would be a ░░░░░░░░ bit better to take ░░░░░░░░ backseat to work on ░░░░░░░░ mindfulness And I knew ░░░░░░░░ the girls would do ░░░░░░░░ absolutely great job and ░░░░░░░░ didn t want to ░░░░░░░░ the team a medal ░░░░░░░░ kind of my screw ░░░░░░░░ because they ve worked ░░░░░░░░ too hard for that ░░░░░░░░ I just decided that ░░░░░░░░ girls need to go ░░░░░░░░ do the rest of ░░░░░░░░ competition.”
